Howdy, Dakkanauts! I'm going to have a game on Sunday with a friend of mine, but the great sorrow is upon me as more than half of my bikes got lost somewhere. So, I will have to play without them and as it goes I want to ask for some advice on this list. It's new to me and I can't get whether it is good or bad.
Here it is:
+ HQ (384pts) +
Big Mek (94pts) [Bosspole]
··'Eavy Armour [Choppa, Shokk Attack Gun]
Mad Dok Grotsnik, Da Painboss (160pts)
Warboss (130pts) [Cybork Body, Gift: Da Lucky Stikk]
··Mega Armour [Power Klaw, Twin-linked Shoota]
+ Elites (170pts) +
Meganobz (170pts) [Boss Meganob w/ Twin-linked Shoota, Meganob w/ Killsaws, Meganob w/ Twin-linked Shoota, Meganob w/ Twin-linked Shoota]
+ Troops (433pts) +
Boyz (142pts)
··Boss Nob [Bosspole, Power Klaw, Slugga]
··11x Boy [11x Slugga]
··Trukk [Big Shoota]
Boyz (142pts)
··Boss Nob [Bosspole, Power Klaw, Slugga]
··11x Boy [11x Slugga]
··Trukk [Big Shoota]
Boyz (149pts) [Boy w/ Big Shoota]
··Boss Nob [Big Choppa, Bosspole, Shoota]
··16x Boy [16x Shoota]
+ Fast Attack (60pts) +
Deffkoptas (30pts)
··Deffkopta [Twin-linked Rokkit Launcha]
Deffkoptas (30pts)
··Deffkopta [Twin-linked Rokkit Launcha]
+ Heavy Support (452pts) +
Battlewagon (135pts) [Big Shoota, Boarding Plank, Reinforced Ram]
Battlewagon (135pts) [Big Shoota, Boarding Plank, Reinforced Ram]
Lootas (182pts) [13x Loota]
TOTAL 1499
Dok goes with MANz on a Wagon, Boss goes to another with shootaboys, trukks hide in cover until close to opponent and Deffkoptas take occasional shots in rear armor and eat dangerous overwatch.

As a semi-experienced ork player I have to say this won't work, a couple of pie plates and ur army is unplayable. My suggestions are:
Go for the Ork Horde Formation and kit it out with 2 squads of 30 ork boyz w/sluggas and then 4 squads of 10 man shoota boyz squads w/trukks, have all the ork squads a Nob w/ bosspole and power klaw. Take a mega armour warboss w/ Lukky Stikk, mega armour, squig - he will go into one squad of massive boyz. Take 2 big meks each w/ KFF, one of each will go into the big squads alongside a painboy. When all the requirements have been meet, then put some deffkoptas and looted wagons in
- I hope this helped a bit

Thank you! In fact, I was thinking about a list like that some time ago before I bought my wagons. The problem is that I don't have so many boys, that's a pity.

Is there no other way to play an ork list that doesnt involve 100+ boyz? I mean thats only 800 points so its only just over half an army list (for 1500) but it seems a bit boring.
The original list looked a lot more fun to build, own, and play with.
Though thats from someone who doesnt play competitive tournaments or anything so just my opinion, useless as it may be lol

Does the original list has right to live? Squads in wagons seem solid to me, but are they really like this? I also doubt about Lootas, they are claimed to be cool, but I haven't tried them.

Fast and Loud Works.
I am currently playing with a Blitz Brigade.
Speed Freaks are always a viable option.
Max the units and hit them hard and fast.
Also give your Nobs free Shootas. They can't use PK with Pistols so get the free shot and range.
Not to discredit the others, but Speed Freaks give you options and tends to be more fun. Just remember go all in. Either all fast or don't field the unit.
