Subject: Making a Mucolid and a Tyrannocyte from one kit?

Hey all! I took a short break from 40k, but the new Tyranid models are really making me want to break my hiatus. Does anyone know of any guides to making a Mucolid and a Tyrannocyte from one kit? I'd like to get two of each and I'm not much of a fan of Sporocysts or having to buy four kits, but it looks like those tentacles are used in both of the parts of the kit I want to make.
Any ideas of how to make this happen? Is it decently easy to make with green stuff? I figure I can pretty easily make some tentacles with bits on the end to make them look Niddy enough, but is there big gaps in the kit that prevent this?
Any info is greatly appreciated!
P.S. I apologize if there's already a ton of threads like this, I'm currently at work and couldn't search for it. If you kindly point me toward these threads I'd be super appreciative!!

Personally, Im not too sure about 'nids but I do know that theres generally enough stuff in a space maribe sprue that I only need to order a few parts through a bitz shop online to build a few more. Search around online and see if you can find what you need, either that or green stuff it. If you take this road, put wire inside to keep it rigid, or use plasticard instead of green stuff.

If you dont use the side tentacles, you can green stuff them in just fine and have both. The side tentacles make transport a huge pain so its a win win.

Local guy recycled some of the Lash Whips (Warrior-sized) he has laying around for the Mucolid's tentacles. Looks decent.
