As the subject stats, What happened when Roboute Guilliman met the Emporer? I'm dying to know as they don't seem to mention it in the codex and I can't remember any mentioning of it in past codex.

It was very peaceful and straightforward. Guilliman was already ruling Ultramar when the Emperor came to him, and immediately recognized the Emperor as his true father. The Emperor was in turn astounded by Guilliman's empire and the prosperity it enjoyed and immediately assigned the Ultramarines to him.

That's pretty much it.

I think the quote was "wow kid, just like I would have done it...maybe less blue". And then gave him the greatest legion # ever (if you know your Roman history).

I knew the trolls would come out for this one lol thanks everyone trolls and all for your replies I think it's important they state every detail of the first meeting between Emperor and Primarch. Also yes the 13th!

The XIII Legion of Space Marines, the Ultramarines, was assigned to the command of Roboute Guilliman, whose own genome had provided the basis for its Astartes' gene-seed, and its forward base was relocated to Macragge. The Primarch quickly assimilated the many wonders of the Imperium of Man and set about his new role with skill and enthusiasm. Guilliman's chief talents, as ever, lay in war, and he led the Ultramarines to fresh conquests in the galactic south. He succeeded in liberating more worlds during the Great Crusade than any other Primarch, and the worlds he brought within the Imperium were to benefit from his organisational skills and passion for efficient government. Whenever Roboute Guilliman freed a world from the tyranny of xenos or other men, his first priority was to set up a self-supporting defence system. Careful with that interpretation of 'troll'. There's been no trolling as the majority of people know it--negative trouble-stirring, starting arguments, harassing and provoking other users for sadistic enjoyment etc.--here at all so far, and in the future you might find that more than a few people respond quite badly to being called a troll when they're not being one, especially since one of an actual troll's tricks is to actually start calling other people trolls in order to destabilise threads and plunge them into name-calling and gak-throwing. Most posts in this thread have just been attempts at light-hearted humour, with no intention--that I know of--to provoke users or otherwise purposefully derail the thread, and you'll probably see a fair bit of humour around the site. You'll start earning yourself a reputation--as unwarranted as it might be--if you apply the 'troll' label too liberally, so be careful when you use it, and if possible try not to use it all. If you suspect a member of trolling, try and resist the urge to respond to them and instead hit the Triangle of Friendship in the top-right hand of their post to alert a moderator.
