My latest effort, a Necron Night Shroud Bomber:

Unfortunately, that’s pretty much the only picture of it I got. I had promised my friend whose it is that I’d have it ready for our February event and I made that happen, but just barely. I put on one last wash, drove to Redcap’s to let it dry, hopped out of my car, gave the Bomber a solid spray of dull coat right there on the sidewalk, marched in to present it to Lovell… and told him to not let anybody touch it for ten minutes until the paint dried. Just in time delivery!

Using a new sergeant I painted for my Kingbreakers as the demo:

Behold the glory of the Eldar!

Besides some photos of my new warriors, I have a couple notes on the blog about my process for rapidly getting these guys done, with a couple fairly uncommon steps like using bamboo skewers.

Thanks! A lot of them have been for friends. I enjoy painting them but wouldn't really play them, so that's a nice chance to paint something different and not pay for the models...

Speaking of which---Obyron, Lord of Hugs:

Just posted photos for my recent Medea Refinery terrain build:

http://www.rocketshipgames.com/blogs/tjkopena/2016/06/medea-refinery/

It uses a mix of traditional scratchbuilding and a lot of 3D modeling and printing. That blog post has a bunch of final photos, and links to the previous articles with a ton of construction notes and photos. There has been a bit of a construction blog on Dakka here.

Beyond-LOS shooting is the business in 8th edition, so I designed a turret to convert my Rhinos into Whirlwinds. STLs are available on Thingiverse.

Finished building my most recent terrain setup: NeX-1119, a secretive high-energy research facility. Mostly made for Infinity miniatures. A mix of 3D printing and classic scratchbuilding. Painting soon!
