Got a tournament game vs OK tomorrow and have 100 points to spare, what should I get? I have no idea what the OK player will be fielding I have never played against him, but some ogre cannons, ironguts, mournfang and the thundertusk/frozentusk or w/e is called is what I suspect I'll be facing tomorrow.

My list atm is:

Lords:

Chaos Sorcerer Lord - Lvl4, DIspel Scroll, Enchanted Shield, Talisman of Endurance, Lore of Shadows

Heores:

Exalted Hero - MoT, BSB, Shield, Dragonhelm, Ironcurse Icon

Exalted Hero - MoT, Halberd, Shield, Soul Feeder, Third Eye of Tzeentch, Daemonic Mount, Barding, Talisman of Preservation

Core:

18x Tz Warriors - Shields, Full Command, Blasted Standard

18x Nurgle Warriors - Shields, Halberds, Full Command, Banner of Swiftness

Special:

Chimera - Regenerating Flesh

Skullcrushers of Khorne - Ensorcelled Weapons, Musician and Banner, Banner of Eternal Flame

This is roughly 2400 pts, so i got 100 pts to spare, my options are:

1) 3 units of 5x warhounds to play with the charges
2) Add flamers to the chimeras and 1 unit of 5x warhounds
3) Drop the gorebeast chariot and with those points and the remaning 100 take my ol' Hellcannon and have 33 pts to spare

I feel like this isnt the best way to tackle ogres but with 100 points i dont know if theres much you can do. If i can make a suggestion i would drop atleast one chimera and add 5 blight kings and use great weaps. ogres will only hits on 5 and (if using hand weaps) wounding on 5s, i think. then ull be hitting on 3s and wounding on 2s back. Plus ull be challenging and wrecking his characters and rolling on table. Blights are ogre KILLERS. If i was facing ogres, and i do almost every weekend id drop both the chimeras and fill with blights. id drop the sorcerer hq too and take orghots daemonspew. He will crush mournfang and everything else ogre for the same point or at least close to it. as far as the Tz warriors are concerned. I think you are doing this for the blasted banner but theyre just gonna shoot at the other unit. for those points id rather take wulfric and a block of marauders with flais instead to come in and take out the cannon. just saying.

with only 100 pts, if ur not gonna change anything then i guess id say 3 plaguedrones.

no you don't need MoS to take shadow magic

if you take no mark you actually have access to more lords but don't get the mark benefits

and to the OP your list is really bad for ogres its kinda our hardest matchup and chimeras aren't enough wounds

you need a hell cannon to put pressure on him to nova dn not just sit back and shoot with leadbelchers because those will ruin your day

best advice take minimum core and get some serious casters like a lv4 on disc he's a lot of points my load out usually costs 450 but I've had him single handedly win games against ogres for me
