I'd love to know the story behind the sawn off point of the sword. I mean, the sword is styled such that it should have a point, it should be an effective stabby weapon if needed to be used in such a way but it's not pointy any more. It gives it sense of brutality I think but it's almost like there's a great story in how it lost its tip.

I might have to squeeze Zoaty in, maybe I need to push to finish my BSF collection? Judi finished up nicely, the coat really is wierd, but space marine garments have always been wierd, moving in and out of armour plates. They can’t be comfortable, but Judi really likes his wierdcoat

Good job on the Judiciar, he certainly looks like he means business. I think the muted colours on him really suit his place in the lore..."I am the lore...I mean law!".

Looks epic with the background of those ruins and the propaganda posters as well.

The judiciar may be wearing a weirdcoat but let's face it, the guy has style and he knows it. He's go a strut.

I'm excited to see how you paint up the zoat!

Nice work on the Hospitaller Viterbi! The red armour works really well and is presumabel a very practical choice given her line of work

Thanks youwashock! Still have lying the Bloodletter Glaze lying around and the sword seemed like a good reason to get it out. Quite happy with it too.

Thanks theCrowe! I believe the designer thought it looked more like a executioner's blade without the tip, it's not a conversion

Thanks ListenToMeWarriors! And your comment gave me a bad Stallone Dredd flashback Never before and after was a man seen yelling "law" so weirdly...

Thanks zahnib! It certainly helps to make the armour look a bit cleaner

Very slow progress the last days, but I now have the results of my Indomitus expenditures. I had bought two boxes, because a friend wanted to have the core book and one Necron half. Initially I though about just taking the Space Marine half, but I wanted to have the core book too, so two boxes it were. In the end I kept:

1 Core book
1 Space Marines half
3 more bikes
1 Plasmancer (not sure what to use him for, but lovely sculpt)
2 Crypto Thralls (gonna slap some purity seals and imperial transfers on them and use them as Death Cult Assassins)
1 Cryptek Reanimator (size-wise it may be on par with armigers so I'm thinking to put imperial weapons on and use it as a Helverin)

Everything else I sold separately on eBay as auctions starting at 1€. I expected to get some of my money back, but after deducting all fees I now have paid 17,80€ for everything I kept from Indomitus. Best Warhammer Deal ever

But I did paint something, finally did the 5 bolter gals. They are rough in places (and yes, still no srilled or painted barrels ), but fine as gaming pieces and will be the first casualties in-game

Sweet hustle with the Indomitus sales. New Sisters look good, despite their short life expectancy.

Thanks guys!

And after seeing the updates in maxwin‘s plog I realized, I should get started on my painting comp entry and did the first work on Greyfax last evening. Seeing as she takes a lot of design cues from the Sororitas range I will align her with their color scheme.

That's ace. You almost make me regret moving on from the Ordos Might net on with my RT warband. That deep green is particularly lovely.

Have never ever really paid any attention to Greyfax, she looks like a cracking sculpt. But rules and lore wise what is the crossbow bolter thing?

Thanks Graven! Playing normal Inquisition is nigh on impossible today, but I now have a nice selection of Inquisitors done and alone they slot perfectly into every Imperial Army so I'm content for the moment. Only the Jokaero is sad, because he will never get taken anywhere

gobert wrote:Nice choice of lipstick! she’s a cool looking mini

Thanks gobert! I imagine she saw Joey Tribbiani in his Ichiba commercial and just had to get that lipstick

amazingturtles wrote:She has such a snazzy hat. I need a hat like that! And that is excellent face painting so far.

Thanks amazingturtles! I think the candle on it really pulls it together. Just hoping I will be able to paint it as cracked leather, as I planned.

ListenToMeWarriors wrote:Have never ever really paid any attention to Greyfax, she looks like a cracking sculpt. But rules and lore wise what is the crossbow bolter thing?

Thanks ListenToMeWarriors! It is a Condemnor Bolter and has special rules against Psykers (and maybe Demons, little hazy on that). It probably will seldom matter ingame, but it sure as hell looks cool

maxwin wrote:Nice wore! what did you use for the snow in the bases?

Thanks maxwin! Also I'm at a loss what a "wore" is I use the GW Texture Paint Valhallan Blizzard for the snow, not cheap, but works and I'm now set in my ways.

youwashock wrote:Such a nice model. That blue lipstick is to die for. Looking forward to seeing her stand with your Sisters.

Thanks youwashock! It won't take long for her to join the Sororitas, body and backpack are done.

Pressure valve did cost a lot of nerves and at least in theory I need to optimize it a bit, but I'm scared of ruining everything with a wrong stroke, I don't have small brushes atm and Army Painter Character and Citadel Medium Layer make this stuff a real challenge.

Your color scheme is solid. Keeps looking good, even after all those minis.

And really nice Indomitus hustle. Makes me really wish I would have gotten a box after all . . .

Thanks DJJazzyJeff! Let's hope I'm not getting sick of it, still lots of minis to go

Had a bit of time and motivation on my hand and surprisingly finished Greyfax. Quite happy with her, did a little bit on the pressure valve indicator, so that the inner ring is also black. It won't get better like this, so I'll leave it be for now.
And next up will be the first five Assault Intercessors and hopefully finally the last two Repentias, sitting on this desk for too long.

Thanks gobert! Next order (still a bit off) will definitely include a detail brush. Hopefully it really makes it easier.

Small update, my Sister and Terminator Librarian arrived. And it's proof that GW reads this forum, because I was complaining on youwashock's plog that my order still wasn't sent and five minutes later I had the shipping confirmation in the mail
And I'm finally psuhing forward on the Repentia. I'm not a fan of the old design, because nothing about them says repentant sinner, but the new ones have their own struggle. Faces, Eviscarators and the self-mutiliation all look the part, but their robes and shoes really scream "I'm an athlete". So I thought it only fitting to give one of the models some nice Stan Smith sneakers
