I'm just happy seeing that they went over 4 times their requested 100,000 dollars and with a healthy kickstarter model. These will be trying time with corona and then with economic woes.

Indeed the KS is off to a healthy start. I also hope it gives them a revitalising lift, I'd had to see PP fall to the side and vanish.

Reminder that the end-date is fast approaching!

Also what are people choosing? Right now I'm torn between the "Browncoat/Rebel" asthetics of the Marcher Worlds; and the darker, sinister cybernetic designs of the Aeternus Continuum.

So far the only models I outright don't like are the "repair" style models from most of the ranges; whilst the rest I really like the appeal of for different reasons.

I'm tempted to go Marcher if only because the whole dark and sinister side is one that I'd be more typical to go for so the Marcher would give me something different to what I'd normally reach for, perhaps first.

It's tricky though because we've really only a few leaders, core infantry and a few jacks to make a choice with. The armies aren't even showing unique diverse options in their rosters; keeping very close to the same broad core of unit types/concepts.

Wave one stuff due to start arriving next month. Keen to see what everyone thinks.

The galaxy is littered with the single-planet graveyards of civilisations which made the economically sensible decision not to explore space.

It will be nice to see some discussion for the game again. Died out for a little bit. Will this discussion stay in News and Rumors, or will it be moved over to the Privateer Press section?

Well news will likely be new releases that will have a lot of chatter and then it might well splinter off once people start getting their own models and want to talk about them/ask specific questions

A bit of quiet after the buzz of the KS is normal - there isn't much to chat about when we don't really have any models, rules, lore or such in people's hands.

I know a few people who have been playing with proxies that seem to really like it. Definitely curious to see it with real models.
