I've been wanting to do this for a while (even in spite of the Raider being announced). I finally got started last night, but I've already run into an issue: I'm just thinking that I want to make it thinner. This is what the reference looks like:

And this is what I've got so far:




I'm torn, because I like the idea that you can fit/dock a large ship like the YT-1300 between the pincers, but it feels like a different ship than what's in the reference. I can pretty easily chop up the connecting spans and squeeze the ship together, but I can't decide.

What do you all think?
