I am considering building a Daemonhunter and Witchhunter army, but am unable to find what units you can take. The codex states the restrictions on allied Space Marines and Imperial Guard, but not the Ordo Hereticus units.

Did I miss something, or can you only contain a Daemonhunter in a Witch hunter force?

The WH Codex tells you what WH units you can ally to other lists. The DH Codex does the same for DH units.
There is no "Joint Inquisition" Codex, so you must simply choose one of the two Codices and then ally the other one to it.

C: WH pg 25 "Using Witch Hunters as allies": 0-1 Hq, 0-1 Elite, 0-2 Troops, 0-1 Fast, 0-0(yes, zero) Heavy

I think that C: DH has the same allowances as C: WH.
