What does BOTWD give ward saves against?

dreaded 13th spell says no saves of any kind.

So does a unit with botwd get to make its ward saves against the dreaded 13th?

You don't get ward saves vs the 13th. It doesn't matter where your ward save comes from, you don't get to take it.

Mexico

The 13th along with some of the BRB spells (Metal, Death, Shadows) are what remains of an era where some lores had a plain unit removal. Whenever the Skaven codex gets updated it will weaken the 13th as they did with the tzeentch infernal gateway (if rolling 11 or 12 on the str dice it used to remove the target unit entirely without any save, and know it does 1 extra D6 hits instead allowing both armor and ward save)

True, no armor allowed vs STR10, still it is a lot better to have only a 3D6 S10 hits than to lose your complete unit no matter what
