Howdy
Some of you might have seen my "House Cadmus" Army here: http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/637618.page
Anyway, I decided to expand said army with a few conversions:
5 additional knights, one with Rocket Launcher/Battle Mace (will field it as alternate Styrix), one with Plasma Canon (anyone I talked to would accept it as Errant), the Mantis Knight is basically a "Got some bits left, and I like that look" conversion, and the two "Adeptus Mechanicus Repair Machines" in the background were also built with remaining bits, in order to brighten up the display case a bit
Anyway..here are the 5 future members of my Knight collection:

Looks awesome. Conversions > Stock.

Got some Maulerfiend tentacles, and decided to add them to a repair knight.
(Which admittedly now sports some sort of Lovecraftean look. Still..the Admech was never too keen on sticking to the human form, so I will let that one slide )

Very cool conversions. Love how they all resemble Knights enough to look like different models from the same Forgeworld.

Admech Knights are nearing completion (just 1-2 bits on "empty" spaces, then they can be primed and painted).

The knights are completely converted by now, and painting started:

Lovely stuff! I'm shocked and in awe. How did you do the overlapping shoulder pads?

It's a Forgeworld model that comes with those shoulder pads

What kind of rules do you use for the repair knights, I'm seriously liking the tentacles very techpriesty.

Yay completed my Cerastus set! Just waiting for them to come in then I'm off to make a WIP thread for them. ( http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/644550.page#7750841 )

NOTICE ME SENPAI!!!

Sorry, a tad late.
The Admech Knights were basically "Just for Fun" models.
For proxy use, there are two possibilities right now:
a) As Gallant (the arms making them look CC heavy)
b) As Acheron (one arm features a big, flamer like tool).

So, not too much progress, but I at least finished to of the new Knights (the Warden comes with firmly attached weapons, while the Crusader is magnetized, to also allow a Warden, Gallant or Paladin).

Household in complete strength:

It's been some time since the lastest update, but the 6 additional knights are making steady progress, and are nearing completion.

This means that there are basically no unpainted and or unconverted knights any more on my table and.

..erm...uh...hello, you two guys. Where did you come from? Sigh..okay, I cannot turn my back upon anything Knight like, so I will take care of those two little guys and

OH FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!! WHERE DO THOSE THINGS COME FROM???? Sigh...okay...gonna need some more paint....

Awesome! That warlord is just insane!

Though I'd hate to see the size of your army case to cart all of them around in!

The usual army size is 2.500 to 3.000 pts, that is quite manageable

Btw....Forgeworld released a new knight.
I wanted to have that knight.
That's all there is to say.

I was rather lazy lately, but managed to create at least a few results:

This here will be some worm-like Admech machine, digging itself Tryon style out of the ground.

There are Kataphron servitors, why not also Knights?

This Knight conversion was accused of having skipped leg day. Therefore, a more "solid stance" was created for him.

At first, I was like "omg, what did he do to these poor knights ?!" then I saw your knights painted, and your paint sheme is very good.

I love your yellow, it is a good idea with your green (I absolutely hate red and green Dark Angels, for example).
And your conversions, once painted, fit well with the models.
Good job.

But, aren't you blase / jaded to paint all these knights, with the same paint scheme ?

I think I would^^

Late answer, but: Nope, I am not bored by this paint scheme

Anyway, at least some work has been done, finished converting

Those battletech knights are just excellent. They capture both battletech and 40K vibe brilliantly.
