Hey all,
I've recently decided to start a Chaos Daemons army for Warhammer 40K.

My reasons for this are that I have always been interesting in the models and the lore, especially for Nurgle and Tzeentch.
And I want this to be a well painted army, painting is my favourite part of the hobby.
I recently went to a tournament and was equal 2nd in presentation with an army I considered being pretty average. I want to take my time with this army and have a good go at trying to win some awards but mainly I'd like to up my game. I want this army to involve some really cool conversions and models, rather than spamming the same model.

My main idea for this force is that is Nurgle and Tzeentch manage to piss each other off, as usual. So they've sent some of their troops to have a battle. As the two armies are about to clash, out of nowhere Be'lakor pops out and stops the fighting that was about to begin. He points the two war ready forces towards a new enemy (my opponent) and the daemons put aside their differences to vanquish their foes, and then returning to their bickering.

But enough talking, here is a plaguebearer I did as a test model. I painted him a few times, so he is very rough and I tried to do him fairly quickly, but I think I have a good idea of what they will look like all up.
C&C are welcome and I hope you enjoy.

EDIT: Next up I will be getting Be'lakor on Thursday most likely, Finish the plaguebearers and hopefully get started on a Tzeentch Daemon Prince involving a certain GW flaming Phoenix, but we'll see when we get there.: END OF EDIT

Until next time,
Ben

In the Warp, getting trolled by Tactical_Spam, AKA TZEENTCH INCARNATE

The plaquebearer's looking nice The army does need a kickass name though, something that reflects the Nurgle/Tzeentch coalition... 'Oracles of Decay' perhaps?

Tactical_Spam: Ezra is fighting reality right now.

War Kitten: Vanden, you just taunted the Dank Lord Ezra. Prepare for seven years of fighting reality...

War Kitten: Ezra can steal reality

Kharne the Befriender:Took him seven years but he got it wrangled down

Yea the army does need a good name, too bad thats probably what im worst at. I'll think about it.

I haven't done much progress but have almost finished painting three more plaguebearers.
This came in today.

He's sooooo tiny, because he is an older sculpt.
I still have to do some greenstuff work on him, just filling the gaps nothing special.
I'm going to a tournament with my eldar this weekend so wish me luck!
