Hi... I really want to get into Warhammer Fantasy with an empire army and have decided to start up a small force. While today at my local GW store I was going to pick up the starter set I noticed something odd on ebay. Someone was selling A LOT of models for very cheap. Knowing next to nothing on Warhammer fantasy I would ask if one of y'all nice and kind Gentlemen and Ladies would see if these aren't recast/not even Warhammer models so I don't get ripped off. This is really stupid to post because someone will see the nice price and attempt to out bid me and not knowing the price of individual units I would kindly ask of you not too. Also, is this deal even actually a deal? Or is this amount of units standard for this price.

That is an empire army and a large one at that. Its a really good deal if you are willign to spend that much id go for it.

That is a lot of miniatures and they all appear to be the real deal. I'd snag if you want to start.

Wow! You guys actually won't snag it from me so kind! Also, do you think I should start an Empire army right now and get this deal because it is only 10 bucks more than the starter set, but it won't last forever and no one knows what will happen after the end times.

Well you are getting way more than is in the battalion.

That's a great deal & a great start but remember $120 is the STARTING bid. Most ebay auctions don't see action until <12 hours before it ends. Then the price shoots up as people start bidding.

Retail looks to be abound $700-800 but it's assembled & primed so it takes the value down a bit but still a great deal. Just be warned it likely won't SELL for 120, put in whatever you're comfortable bidding & try not to get caught up in the "I wanna win!" mentality that sees bids rise substantially higher than the buyer was actually looking to pay.

I understand this entirely. If it goes into the 300-400 dollar range I won't buy. Just hoping that I can snag it and everyone just doesn't know the auction exists. I'll pray to Khorne for this luck tonight .

That's a great way to start empire off. Lot of good stuff in there, and its all assembled and primed already too, which saves you a bunch of work. What is painted thus far looks neatly done too.

A great deal if you ask me.
