I apologize bigly

I was building my draconic reactor under spawn, and due to a unforeseen accident it blew up a large area around spawn. most of the damage was under ground. I've already notified dark.

I had it working, it was running smoothly, then an accident with a aoe pick nicked the side of the energy storage ball and turned it off. with nowhere for the reactor to send energy and even with the fail safe activated it jumped right into a critical condition

dark says it will be about 15 hours from the time of this post, til he can get it fixed if you have a base near spawn you might want to wait til then to log in.

The facts its not quite demolished the top layer is kinda cool.

ya it was odd, everything under the surface got vaporized leaving the surface mostly intact.

my draconic reactor is up and running at spawn, I think it's best if no one touches it, don't even look at it.

I'm still making capacitors to finish the floor under the draconic infuser, but there's enough to get started with. just go down the ladder and put your favorite energy transfer device on top of the capacitors.

no symbols, just a proper us flag. I'm not sure on the dimensions. but if you could make either size flag so it fits properly on my ship, that would be great. I can make you a dialing device so you can go from you place to my ship if you'd like so you can get a feel for the size. speaking of size, apologies for the huge pic I'm posting

we have the concrete blocks, and the colored ring that can make cobble into any color.
the smaller flag is fine and can be flat & straight, but if you could make it look like it's blowing in the wind, that would be really awesome.

Also, I'm... halfway? done with your flag, if you wanna see its current progress. I'm gonna do the final carving in situ for logistical reasons soonish, so you might see it in progress there anyways.

just place them next to each other and feed them RF, I usually put the dialing device between the transmitter & receiver.

then name your devices and dial up where you want to go.

Um... So, I'm going to need you to build your conning tower up about... 7 or 8 blocks higher? or put up someplace for the flag?

I kinda went full "Old Glory" on it. It's like, Fort McHenry sized- 13 blocks tall, 24 1/2 blocks long.

It's accurate down to a few tenths and a couple degrees of color to the Official Flag Code, though.

I marked out an area in dirt for it. What do I owe you?

You're providing free power and gave me teleporty things. That's good enough, but if you really want, I'd love access to metal blocks for decoration purposes. Or any interesting looking blocks that I could use for decoration.

Actually, scratch that. You know what would be good payment? An Angel ring. I can provide my own grid power once I finish up your flag, but an Angel Ring and GP to use it while sculpting your flag. I've got the blocks in place, but now I want to get it all flowy and thin, and that's difficult to do without flight.

That looks really epic.

It's in the chest I put in your place. That's still more transportation cost to me though.

Trust me, that's gonna be SO useful for my own stuff. The map's nice, but being able to get a bird's eye view of my own structures will help loads.

I love it, that's really impressive. Now it feels like home.

I turned off the manipulator, nighttime once again befalls the land. I should probably move it to spawn with a on/off switch when you're done.

Why don't you use Flat Colored Blocks and clad your ship? Get rid of that texture that the stone gives, and get exact to the paint color.

I had considered that, but I like having my stuff show up on the map, it doesn't even render the concrete blocks. without the stone it would just be some weird mess in the ocean. see for yourself, it's at 2450 2140

I still have more stuff to do topside, but I'm doing the inside first so I can poke holes where needed, and get the layout to match the "spirit" of the ship with all the cool toys the mod pack offers.

That's why you just clad it, instead of a replace. Chisel'n'bits yo.

I gotta say I'm digging the fact that on the map its facing down two pirate ships.

I haven't been on due to very bad internet (Comcast blacklisted the house I just bought, had to settle for Hi-speed until I jumped through hoops) I should be getting proper connection tomorrow, so I'll be back!

FYI I moved my weather and time manipulators to spawn behind the draconic building.
