I'm going to play a tournament with high cheese factor. So I'm building my Win Max list with Eldar.

They allow only one LOW but only from codexes. (Knights are allowed). We will play modified Maelstrom and regular missions.

The plan is to stay back and shoot with 2 guide boosted units of scatterbikes, the Serpents Flat out in position with the Guards to pop veichles followed by the Knight as support.
Round 2 the farseer moves after Knight, gives it guide on the charge.

Why the ghost glaive knight out of interest?

To Block out and kill Wraiths Sword gives me popping Power VS AV and keeps the nasties away.

Popping power vs AV? He's strength 10 anyway. I personally think that 2 heavy wraith-cannons and a scatter laser is the optimum load out.

I can see the argument for taking the sword knight - I prob wouldn't but he's not exactly weak. The blind rule from his shield is devastating against wraiths.

What I would do is cut 50pts of bikes to give the second guard scythes - their anti-charge alone is worth it. If possible I would also break the bikes into smaller units - you have to take moral after 1 dies but the MSU concept has several other advantages

Against other Wraithknights sword is kind of better. If he does not have S D he will be tied up in CC With Wraiths and loose in CC to Imperial Knights.

I kind of agree on Scythe guards, but also regular guards give more damage against wraithknight. But I will remove 2 Scatterbikes for extra scythes I think.

Also I Agree, I will split up for 6 units, cant filed more in a CAD.

Who cares against the knight in combat. You can shoot them with SD before they get to you and then they die in combat to your I 5...

Against Knight With no S D it is 50% to destroy but if you do not you yourself get destroyed.

If Your shooting you need avreage of 2,5 round to kill it if it had facing against you if not With guide. If guided you need 2. My main issue will be to get dominated by Necrons, Drop Pods and Knights, which Sword Knights take Down better.

I agree that Cannons are better most times, but he fills my gaps better in this list.

Scatter bikes will kill 3 Knights. Easy.

Your list lacks the ability to reach out and destroy AV13+.

Perhaps consider Bright Lances for the serpents. And if you only have one Wraith Knight; Dual Heavy Wraith Cannons and two Scatter Lasers is most definitely the way to go. Remember that there is still the Stomp 'phase'.

Allying in ~155 points of Dark Eldar gets you a Webway Portal, allowing you to Deep Strike one or the other of your Wraith Guard units (which can then disembark and fire their weapons at full BS because the Transport they were in counts as moving 6").

I personally think that Scatbike spam is a trap. But I'll assume that you know your meta. You ARE missing out on the wonderment that is the Aspect Host formation.

I too believe scatter bike spam is a trap. People overreact to it so hard and they are going to fall flat on their faces.

Stomp cant touch knights. Maybe I will tone bikes down add 6 fire dragons and ally in haemo coven for 3 web way portals.

That would be some stinky cheese! Is that formation in a supplement or did I not read the codex carefully enough? I would love to have 3 portals!

Dual Heavy Wraithcannons is a 20% chance per turn to remove any model from play.

Wraiths, good thing you have stomp in melee and a ton of Scatter Lasers to drop them before they become an issue.

Imperial Knights, Ranged D will do the trick. 1/5 chance of dropping one before it gets there. What, you may face a total of 4 knights, 5 if they are basically melee only. Your army will have a field day as the DScythes pop out and drop one each.

Dual Heavy Wraithcannons all the way, and if you face another Wraithknight it gives you the best odds, taking the time to close into Wraithguard/Wraithscythe range to take out their heavy hitter is foolish.

I am inclined to agree on the Dual Cannon version. I will need to check up on tourney rules to see if I can use two CAD's as I can only get 3 Haemo if I play the Coven special detachment.
