I have the Warlord M-3 Lee Tank, it served my Chindit/Gurkha Army quite well. As you can see, it is rather naked. I'd like to get some suitable decals for it; any suggestions?

M3 Lees in Burma were painted a dark olive green, which was very similar to US olive drab. Most of them were modified by the removal of the .30 cal sub-turret (replaced by the same split hatch that was used on the Grant), British-style smoke dischargers on the turret, the addition of extra armour plates and track links on the hull (to protect against Japanese lunge mines), screens over the engine deck (to protect against Japanese anti-tank mines) and additional stowage boxes (because British tankers can never have enough places to stow their gear). Unhitching logs and other stowage was also common. Note that most of the Lees in Burma had the long-barrelled 75mm M3.
Markings were minimal, and tended to be limited to a couple of roughly painted white stars, tactical markings on the turret (diamond for HQ, triangle for A Squadron, square for B Squadron, circle for C Squadron - the seniority of the squadron was denoted by the colour), and a name.
Hope that helps.

It helps quite a bit; It appears my Lee will be a dedicated Burma Campaigner.

Post a photo when you've finished adding the Burma-specific details.
Interestingly, it appears that Burma was the one theatre where the M3 Lee was effective; its 37mm gun was useful against both the thinly-armoured Japanese tanks and against infantry (firing cannister), the 75mm was very effective (especially when firing high explosive), it was reliable, and it was well armoured enough to be able to stand up to most Japanese anti-tank weaponry.

Some units used to travel with a four man infantry detachment on the rear hull, armed with SMGs, to shoot down any would be attackers...
