I keep having ideas for various space marine conversions on steeds, such as lizards, horses and dragons.

But I have put off trying it because there don't seem to be any legs that would work. Most space marine legs wouldn't even work if I tried to bend them, either. I thought about biker legs but they seem too close together for most steeds.

Has anyone done a conversion like this? And how did you do the legs? Are there any relevant conversion bits available to buy from non-GW sources?

Also biker legs give you something for a leaning-forward look, as if the steed was cantering or galloping.
