I've been going over some fluff lately, reading and studying different aspects of the lore as I usually do, when something came to me. An idea, or perhaps even a question.

Could the forces of Chaos control Wraithbone vehicles? From what I've gathered, the "pilot" within the Soul Stone that is placed upon the machine must have enough Psychic energy to animate the vehicle. Could a Daemon, lesser or Greater, have enough energy to possess a Wraithguard/Wraithlord/Wraithknight? By Psychic energy, I assume it boils down to control over warp energies, which Daemons are in essence. I could see a Chaos Sorcerer using his power to force a Daemon into the Machine, taking the place of the Soul Stone. I have no idea if they only react specifically to the stone or not, but the idea is something I'd like to toss around. So, what do you think? Is this viable?

Spoiler:
Bonus Round:

How much damage could a Bloodletter strapped into a Dreadknight do, potentially? (Obviously using weapons a Daemon could wield, not GK weapons.)

I figure it boils down to the properties of soul stones and wraithbone. Stones prevent Slaany from eating their souls, so there's no getting in the soul stone itself, cause why should any other god be able to get in.

Can daemons possess dead bodies? As far as I know they can't, everything I remember involves living sacrifice, and it seems like a wraithbone construct would be more difficult to use.

But since it's all made up... Yes.

Well, the Wraithbone is actually crystallized warp-energies. If, say, a Wraithlord was dragged to the Forge of Souls located within the realm of Chaos, could a Daemon potentially fuse itself with the machine? I'm not sure.

I think a daemon could infuse itself within wraithbone itself, but not within the spirit stone. If the spirit stone allowed access to the warp, Slaanesh would have long devoured the inhabitants. So if you removed the spirit stone, you should be able to bind a daemon into the construct itself. After all, you can bind a daemon into something inanimate like a gun, a psycho-reactive substance would be twice as good. You'd end up with a Wraithlord/guard frame mutating and warping according the desires of the daemon inside.
