Something I've always been curious about. Do people in Germany still use the word "Fuhrer" as the literal translation of the word "Leader"? Or does that word carry negative connotations?

@ Vik - thanks my German is rusty my written German worse and what I do speak is only usable on a boat or in a bar

if you would call that word out in public you certainly would get some really nasty loks either or even some apreciating looks... you choose what is scarier...for raising your hand you can get into some serious legal trouble by the way...and i am not even beginning on talking about swasticas at all... the whole issue of the second world war is some serious sore wound still... maybe after some young dumbheads and the old ones too have bitten the dust things may sooth....but i recon thats another fifty years at least....some things are way to deep running...

I didn't read every post, I'm at work after all, but I went to your store too. Love it! I'll be ordering lots of goodies soon! i think the germans still haven´t learned an essential lesson... and that i see a world that is coming to to think that rascists believe are to be covered in certain stupid ideas... some politics try to sooth them idiots by giving them small bitz of what they ask for and if you give them one finger they soon have them by their throats and we could then all be in a big war again... i know it sounds pretty dark and zomby nazi stuff here but sometimes when you see news about what has caused some fights in the streets or when you see nazis march on protests and see them get protection by the police for the sake of the democracy then you might catch the wrong ideas about the system i am living in... and you might even go so far as to stretch that cap america metaphor and think about a shadowy figure like red skull that is pulling some awful strings in the dark...you can´t really think for real that an ugly shrew like our chancellor is actually ruling this overpopulated country? i mean we are talking about the conservative germany here....

Well, IMO the greed just makes people poor, and when people are poor, crime rises, and soon people become uncivilized and grasp onto leaders and ideas. Generally because they are too afraid to think for themselves. It is easier to jump on a bandwagon, security in numbers.

I think we all need to take a step back and look over our own histories to realise that many monstrosities have been committed by all nations some just newer than others some even to date, true we should not forget but we must try and learn from them and not allow them to be repeated. My scout bikers - nearly finished are getting some winter tyres - hopefully wont trash the rest of the model - might as will practice what I preach!

Call me stupid but do you mean you are going to convert this bikes tires ? I was just wondering have you considered sculpting up some realistic looking bike tires ?. Its just I want to scratch build some bikes for my guard but there are no decent tires out their that would work some thinner more realistic ones would be good or a set of variety types like you would get for different kind of bikes. Its just the market does not really cater for this I would like to make some choppers for necromunda gangs and some for orks but there is nothing really out their maybe you could help out here.

I have to agree. I converted these Hive Biker gangs several years ago (falling apart now from improper storage) but the tires are definately too big

So any input on diameters - widths and styles of tyres - not too bothered about PSI though

Exactly half as wide as these, same diameter. Not too much tread, as it wouldn't make any sense at all to put off-road tires on a street bike.
