Should I be worried if Brigade in the US hasn't sent shipping info yet? Seems like people here are already assembling, and playing?

Probably not. Remember that the page said:
When you buy into a Nickstarter Deal, it qualifies you for the rewards that will be unlocked throughout the campaign. The Nickstarter campaign runs from 6th April to 26th April 2021.
The Nickstarter deals will be posted out May 2021.

The people posting with figures are the people who got it directly from the UK. In the optimal situation, Brigade games has to get the big batch of orders from the UK, repackage them for reshipment, and then send them out. If US backers through Brigade are lucky, I'd say shipping later this week and arriving the week after is the expected time table.

I know it was speculated on a few pages back based off the Frostgrave miniature sizes, but could you take a photo of a Stargrave mini next to something Wargames Atlantic or Maelstrom's Edge if you have one of those around?

I'm still having trouble visualizing how different the heights actually are and if the proportions for helmets and whatnot might be compatible.

heads are certainly compatible, with the bare human heads being basically the same size (the helmeted trooper heads show are much chunkier)

MEdge Broken see to be slightly larger, but less chunky on the arms/legs, as do WGA lizard men

i'll see if I can find some gene stealer cultists, cadians and other WGA stuff & take some pics tomorrow

Edit 1

Spoiler:

GW cultist, Stargrave Trooper, GW poxwalker, Stargrave Trooper, GW GSC Magos, Stargrave Trooper, GW GSC
Spoiler:

Medge Broken alien head, Stargrave Trooper, Medge Broken human head, Stargrave Trooper, GW GSC cadian body, Medge Broken human head, Stargrave Trooper

Edit 2
Spoiler:

Frostgrave Gnoll with stargrave arms, stargrave trooper, female head stargrave trooper, stargrave trooper male head, Medge arm, Medge Broken with Stargrave arm

arm swaps between Stargrave troopers and Medge Broken work fine, although hand size/sculpting is noticeably different so both arms from one kit works best (or swapping out the hand)

Edit 3
Spoiler:

WGA WWI German, WGA WWI German with stargrave arm, Stargrave Trooper, WGA Grognard, WGA Grognard with stargrave arm, Stargrave trooper, Medge Broken with Stargrave arms, Stargrave trooper

the WGA Germans can be used for head swaps, but the bodies and arms don't work with the stargrave stuff as they're much more true scale/less heroic (I'm guessing that will be the same for their wwii stuff too)

the WGA Grognards work well, both for head swaps and arm swaps (so the other deathfields kits should be fine too)

sorry I can't find my WGA raumjager or any of my unbuilt GW cadians (I suspect I was going to do a project with them, and put them all somewhere 'sensible' when I last tidied my work area so i'm not going to see them again until I cave in and buy some more)

OH, that's incredibly useful. Thanks Orlando!
You went above and beyond the call of duty!

Looks like I'll be having some Stargrave kits in my future

I'm in the same boat with Brigade USA. Their site says shipping in May, and their home page has a plea for patience. It's not like I don't already have a closet of shame.

I messaged Brigade Games on Facebook about an hour ago. They just replied that they expect their Stargrave shipment to arrive this evening (5/4/2021) and will start packing and mailing orders out tomorrow.

I won't bug them. As others have said, my backlog is comically full painting and assembling-wise. Still, looking forward to using these for both Stargrave and 5-Parsecs!!!

My Nickstarter package just arrived. Before other people in the continental US start checking their porch, I ordered directly from Northstar, not Brigade Games. I figured I'd get it faster this way. Presumably Brigade Games has their share of the goods and needs to break them down into the proper orders.

Also, my Albedo critter heads arrived yesterday. They are on the small side, so some rough tests with Ghost Archipelago Crew torsos show not all will work. Mildly disappointed that the two bags of mixed heads were identical: Generic dog, dachshund, Angry Cat, Cartoony cat (but a good match for some of the female cat characters in the series), and otter. Since I bought an Otter pack I now have way too many otter heads. I was hoping for a fox head and a rabbit head. The badger heads are of the European badger, not the North American badger. I expected the former, but would prefer the latter as the NA badger has a broader, flatter head which I think looks better than the narrow European badger.

Finished reading Albedo. It's a good sci-fi story, though unfortunately incomplete. [For tragic reasons ... his wife was diagnosed with cancer, and he dropped everything to focus on her. She couldn't beat it.] The fact that these people are anthromorphized Terran animals is an important plot point.

Anyway, off to read the Stargrave rulebook so I can draft up some crews and then build them.

Sounds pretty useful for making an Uplift War set. Too bad they’re metal.

It's a nuisance, but I could not find any other options on Shapeways or Etsy. I'm just that fired up about making an animal-headed biomorph crew that I'm willing to deal with the bother. But resin or 3d printed plastic would have been so much better.

Hamster, these are the Sally 4th heads? I was always curious about picking up some. They're to small to really use?

I was looking for a pic of them to see what backgrounds each figure was as I couldn’t remember for sure.
I’ve made my list of which ones I think fit into what roles too (the blank helmet Mystic can double as a Cyborg. Hacker could be used as a Tekker or Robotics expert etc).

Only problem is if you want to give them equipment and it’s not in the model then it’ll be harder to use them I guess..

Yes. It's a matter of head type added to the torso. For instance, Angry Cat is a small head and so looks wrong on most torsos, but Cartoony Cat is larger and works. The same applies to the dog heads. Otter heads are small, but I'm comfortable with it, if only because I've been watching video of pet otters ever since Covid started. Otters do have small heads compared to their body mass. Still, I was planning on posting pictures when I get a few built, and you can judge for yourself then. {The pics will be the usual poor quality tho...}

Can't get the image tags to work correctly, but the above image link for BBG shows two Sally 4th Rabbit heads on a Palantine Enforcer body, and Cadian body. It looks like rabbit heads are cast larger than the dog and cat heads I got.

What's a Nickstarter? Is this some new form of tabletop gaming-related crowdfunding platform?

Thanks, Hamster! I had to keep refreshing the page because it was giving me 502 errors.

So yeah, it looks like the rabbit heads are much more in line for what we expected (hoped for)?

Do you have any of the Wargames Atlantic Einherjar? Those dog and cat heads might work on them because they're smaller overall?

You're welcome.

re Rabbit heads: It appears so, although since I don't own any myself can't confirm.

No on the WGA Einherjar, although I am considering a sprue purchase for that purpose. [And a Raumjager sprue for the flamethrower ] The WGA halflings probably would work too, and I've two torsos left from an earlier sprue purchase. Thanks for the suggestion.

From Brigade Games USA

Stargrave Nickstarter has arrived and we are busy getting those out the door so please be patient. Please do not email or contact us for an update for your order as it will just take time from us preparing orders and we are doing them as quickly as we can. Note that BrigadeGames has never sold product to retail customers before shipping EVERY NICKSTARTER TO BACKERS FIRST. That just would not be the right thing to do.

Of the mystics that we Nickstarter backers got, she's my favorite, but I still think she looks more like an assassin than a mystic. Besides, most Mystic core powers have the Armor Interference rule. That much armor will penalize the Activation roll. Alternately, she's just that good. "-3? Bah! Child's play"

Hadn’t really placed it as a she.
But I guess so.

My potential Cyborg model when I choose to run one maybe as well..
Or a Rogue/Veteran, as they can be anything style wise..

Compare the chest armor to that of "Mr. Mouth". Mr. Mouth's armor does not protrude outwards.
