"Oh man you guys! I just made the MOST. FRICKIN'. AWESOME looking mini EVER. I'm just so psyched out, it has a Kill-saw and haywire grenades and an eldar jetbike that's also an ork war-bike and a twin-linked custom mega blasta and... What? 'What rules am i using?' Pfff..."

The above is the situation I find myself in. I made a custom miniature that combined an eldar jet-bike with my orc warchief turned big mek and some nob and dakka-jet bits. Altogether it's totally awesome, and fits absolutely no unit in the game. So I decided to make my own rules for him. Obviously I'll only use him among people who don't care, but I need to balance him. So I thought I would bring my current rules to you guys to see what you think. Also I need to decide what he costs, point-wise. I'm leaning toward 175 points.

Stats: WS B S T W I A Ld Sv Unit Type:
Garzok: 4 2 4 4 2 3 3 8 4+ Jet-Bike (character)

Wargear:
Killsaw
Electra-bomb launcha (stand-in for Haywire Grenades)
Bosspole
Meks tools
Da Black Lightnin'

Da Black Lightnin':
A jet-bike stolen from the eldar and retro-fitted with ork tech. turbo-boosts at 36", and provides +1 to the cover save given by turbo-boosting, due to smog. It is fitted with a Twin-linked Thundur Blasta. Which has the below profile:

Stats: S AP Type
Thunder Blasta 8 2 Assault 1, Ker-krackle!

Ker-krackle!:
If a 1 is rolled to hit, place a small blast marker over the gun. Any unit that is under or touches the marker suffers a wound, with the option of a saving throw. Now follow the instruction of the Woah! special rule, treating it as though you rolled a 1.

Special rules:
'Ere we go!
Furious Charge
Independent character
Mob rule
Woah!

Woah!:
whenever Garzok turbo-boosts more then 18", roll a D6. If 1, Garzok got distracted and crashed. Stop half way and Garzok may take a wound, with a chance of a saving throw, if he survives the saving throw or has remaining wounds, he spends the next turn trying to fix Da Black Lightnin'. Follow the rules for Meks tools on Da Black Lightnin' until you get a 5 or 6. If your don't get a 5 or 6, spend the next trying, or however many turns it takes. Garzok cannot leave his prized possession behind.

A few questions.

Points? How many points is this guy supposed to be worth?

Ker-krackle! - "If a 1 is rolled" a 1 rolled when? To hit? To wound? A separate roll?

Woah! - Wording is poor. It says he takes a wound. But then you say he can save. If it is a wound with a save, it needs to be said so. I'm confused by this.

I'm sorry I wrote it badly, I will do my best to fix the mistakes you listed.

1: Yes, points. By that I meant "I think he should be worth 175 points".
2: I'm sorry, I meant to say 'to hit'.
3: It is a wound, with a saving throw, as in the saving throw can save him from the wound. I'll clarify in the original post.

He is way overpriced. I could buy a Big Mek on a bike with a Killsaw, Bosspole, and Kustom mega blasta for 100 points, and having a jetbike type over a bike won't matter as he should be with bikes or Garzok will just get sniped. Garzok basically has that wargear except it even has a chance of exploding on him anyways, and the explosion would be way worse as it can also effect others. I would say he is worth ~110 points.
