Thanks ! It was a fun match. The first round was also against Decurion and was Purge the Alien... The Devastator sergeant sniped one Tomb Blade and the unit broke off the table for a kill point and First Blood... Really lucky on that one.

I ran a list you might be interested in against a green tide yesterday. Sammael, RWCS, IH smashfether, and 4 IH codicers. Almost 1100 points for 11 guys. In 1 round of combat and shooting they killed 9 knobs (precision shots and challenges) the warboss, and 37 regular boys. One psychic phase got off invisibility, enfeeble, dominate, terrify, and hemmorage on the mob, turned on force to nuke the nobs, summoned a Herald and 10 plaguebearers. So by combat he was at S2, T3, WS 3 I1, LD 6. He still had 50 some boys left but needed a 6+, 6+ then a failed 2+ and 4+ to push even one wound through. So all that damage for 1 wound in exchange (due to sacrifice). Give it a try, I think you'll like it.

That necron player was a fool not to engage the Deathstar with something disposable so they couldn't chase the Wraiths when they had the objective.

He tried to use the scarabs and Lychguard to screen his Wraiths and tarpit but neither unit was able to hold up long in melee... Plus I could have simply gated out and shot down the last of the Wraiths.

EDIT: though, RAW, you can't have an allied detachment when your primary detachment (the conclave) is of the same chapter. So technically your list is illegal, unless you are using a tournament FaQ that lets you ally with your own faction.

Yeah it was a short game... Turned out to be not such a good mission for the crons... Hammerhand and force together made short work of them.

Just wanted to point out that things are changing. The ITC used to disallow dual-CAD but allow self-allying. Well, now after the most recent vote, things have changed. Now, ITC and NOVA are in sync in that dual-CAD is in and self-allying is out.

However, there isn't a problem with your list because there isn't a primary CAD. You've only got 2 formations (Nemesis Strike Force and Librarius Conclave) and 1 ally. Thus, it doesn't appear that any rules are broken.

The Allied Detachment specifically prohibits it from being drawn from the same faction as your primary detachment. Since his primary is Space Marines, the allied detachment can't be space marines from the same chapter. He'd have to upgrade it to a CAD to make it a legal list under ITC and RAW.

It really just depends on where you play. It'd be easy enough to select a different chapter for the AD. And SM is not the primary detachment anyways... So doesn't really matter.
