So with 007: Spectre coming out shortly, I thought now would be an ideal time to ask: Which films you like best of the series? Feel free to add commentary for your picks.

I liked Golden Eye the best because of that cool Nintendo 64 game.

None of them really leap out as being superior to the others, in my opinion; most of them are fairly good and of a relatively similar standard.

When it comes to the Bonds themselves, though, Timothy Dalton will always be my favourite.

Also, not including 'Never Say Never Again'?

Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

I agree.

He's the most underrated Bond actor out of the entire lot.

That was a remake of Thunderball, so no. Plus made by a different company.

All the Craig ones. The older ones either aged badly (Connery years, f'rex) or were hot garbage to start with (Brosnan monstrosities).

You didn't like GoldenEye at all then?

The Living Daylights. Timothy Dalton was a fun Bond, partly because he subverted Bond tropes a bit. Does he get the girl? No, she flings herself at him and he brushes her off ...because he has a mission to do. Who's the resistance movement that he's helping? The future Taliban. Who's the villain? A trumped up American general (sorry, what was the point in that gun shield?).

I picked License to Kill as my favorite, though GoldenEye is a close second.

Rounding out my top five is: From Russian With Love, Casino Royale, and Skyfall.

Anything with Sean Connery or Daniel Craig is on the list as well as Goldeneye. Timothy Dalton is in theory a good choice but the scripts were not very good, so I can't pick him.

Amidst the mists and coldest frosts he thrusts his fists against the posts and still insists he sees the ghosts.

Skyfall by a mile for me. Not only is it my favourite Bond movie, but it's probably near if not in my all-time top 15 or 20

Rounding out the top three would be Casino Royale and License to Kill.

Goldfinger is certainly the quintessential Connery Bond film, although From Russia With Love runs a very close second.
While not a very good Bond, George Lazenby did get to be in one of the best Bond films, On Her Majesty's Secret Service. Casino Royale didn't even come close to the emotional punch in the gut that the end of OHMSS had.
Roger Moore, while a good Bond, got stuck with more of the bad films than the other actors did, but I do like The Spy Who Loved Me, and Christopher Lee was a very good villain in The Man With the Golden Gun.
Dalton was good at being the ruthless "action" Bond (almost the opposite of Moore's witty, charming Bond), but neither of his films are really good (but they're not bad, either) as they don't particularly feel like Bond films, I guess.
Brosnan was a nice mix of Moore and Dalton (action and charming), but didn't really have anything really good after Goldeneye, despite having amazing co-stars in the movies, and I have to wonder if Sean Bean is the reason why Goldeneye is that good.
Craig is like a modern Connery, but none of his films truly stand out to me among the greats (but they've all been good, at least). I do have high hopes for Spectre, though.

If I had to pick just three, my top three, in no particular order:
On Her Majesty's Secret Service
Goldfinger
From Russia, With Love

As a sidenote:
Best M: Judi Dench
Best Q: Desmond Llewelyn
Best Moneypenny: Lois Maxwell
Best Felix Leiter: Jack Lord (because Jack Lord)
Best Bond Ally that wasn't Felix Leiter: Joe Don Baker as Jack Wade

Skyfall, because it brought back a lot of the Iconic parts of the older James Bond movies

I really like On Her Majesties Secret Service. Probably because I find it a rather humanizing Bond story. Plus, Diana Rigg!

In order:

1. OHMSS
2. From Russia with Love
3. The Living Daylights
4. Casino Royale
5. Goldeneye
