Hollerin' Herda with Squighound Pack

As an Ork player, I can't figure out how I'm going to stop him.
He's I6 and has 5 attacks with Ap2
so MA nobs and WB are off the table
He has hit and run so tarpitting him with boyz is off the table.
He has a 2+ and most likely FnP so I can't just spray small arms fire at him
He has a 4++ and can deep strike behind my KMKs and we have no other source of ap2 shooting....
I'm really at a loss here, I can't think of a single viable tactic beside getting very lucky

Flash Gitz can potentially melt his (and his 2+ armor jump infantry buddies) armor while engaging in CC would be best done by Deff Dreads. That unit is going to have terrible shooting and takes up a large amount of points so there wouldn't be all that much that can stop a bunch of dreads from getting stuck in. You can also just screen it with a bunch of grots or MSU boyz to waste its time if its a full on dante deathstar. Fighting it head on is often a waste of time when instead you can just win board control. Tank shock with a bunch of trukks with rams can potentially net some kills if you trap parts of the unit and cut them off from each other breaking unit cohesion (and thus making it easy to squash them in a trukk corral).
MANz can work if you wrap Dante's unit up with boyz to force base contact with as many of the models in the unit as possible then charge in the MANz at an edge of the unit. Only a few models can swing at the MANz (too far away to swing at that unit and can't consolidate because they are in base contact with an enemy model) while the MANz can chain PK swings through the entire unit. Feeding boyz will cause you to lose combat but with mob rule it shouldn't be hard to stay locked in if your swarming with a bunch of units (if the MANz hammer doesn't crush them into bits with mass S9 PK attacks). Its not a pretty method but its possible to do with lots of expendable units. Also if hes going in with a single dante deathstar unit then it shouldn't be that hard to surround it and gang up on it. Hit and Run doesn't work all that well if you surround the unit making it difficult for the entire unit to escape combat. Read very carefully how Hit and Run, multiple combats, and challenges work to use the rules to your advantage to shut down his options and limit the his ability to hurt your power units.

I know for me flooding him jn boyz worked against my buddy. They killed one powerklaw but there were 7 more in striking distance with about 100 attacks from nearby boyz. If they had survived they could have hit and run. Obviously this only works I you run hordes of footslogging boyz. Also a gorkanaut will eat him and his buddies with armor 13 and between 5-8 attacks. Also blood angels is the army I have faced the most and I can definitively say that they struggle enormously against the dread mob formation from waaagh ghazghkull.

Flooding with Boyz sounds plausable. And I mean surround him. If you can force a Morale check, and he fails, and he can't fall back because he's trapped, he will be instantly destroyed (see: "Trapped!" under the Morale section of the BRB). That's assuming you can wound him. Instant Death attacks deny FNP, so that might help. You could also maybe reduce his number of attacks with Runtherds Grabba sticks? There are lots of AP2 options: PK's, Killsaws, Buzzsaws, SAG, Zzap guns, KMK's, Kustom Megga Slugga, Kan Klaw, Klaw of Gork, Teleporta Blasta, Wierdboy Killbolt or Powervomit, etc. You could also string a unit of Grots through your DZ to make it harder for him to Deepstrike. When I run dante I rarely put him with sang guard, to big a target, I throw a lib in the guard unit, and dante into a full bike squad with a priest on a bike. That way he still has liby buffs, but also 8T5 3+/4+/5++ wounds extra

True dat, Dante is tactical enough to know when to retreat and when to fight.
You could take Warbikers to be honest. Lots of bullets = lots of saves. HoW helps to inflict a few more wounds and you can have the Nob upgrade but have no weapons on him to let him take the challenge while your Warboss goes to town on him.

He's just a t4 chapter master with a jump pack, arty armor and EW. Just shoot him a bunch. Or ignore him and let him axe up a few boys while you murder the rest of the army. He needs to catch some very high value targets if he wants to earn back the 400 or more points for himself and his meatshields. Don't throw that valuable stuff at him and even if you don't kill him, you'll have beaten him.
It's not like he has more wounds, t8, fnp, str D shooting and stomps for only a couple rhinos more of points. That would be a LOT harder to handle.

Like most everyone else says, dakka looks best. I was recently facing a kited out Wolf Lord (runic armor, 5+ invuln, shittons of attacks) and I knew my warboss wouldn't stop him. In the end, what killed him was my squad of Lootas. At S7 and tons of shots, Lootas don't care as much about armor saves (because of the sheer weight of the dice) and get plenty of wounds because of the high strength. Honestly, I think I'm going to use my lootas as character killers from here on out- I never liked using them against vehicles, anyway. Mek Gunz are for that.

The issue with tying him up with something like a dread is that he can just hit and run it. Pretty much anything with hit and run is gonna have to be cornered or shot to death with orks.

He "only" has a 4++ and his FNP (if there's also a Sanguinary Priest) is denied by the S8.

Hit and run can be denied, especially if he's deep in your backfield amidst all your stuff.
Let him assault something that will fight with him a bit. He'll wait til the end of your turn to try hit and run. Move some units around the combat without charging in. If anyone in Dante's unit can't get 1" away from the combat while also staying 1" away from the unengaged models, hit and run auto fails.
