Hey guys!

I was wondering if you guys out there could help me narrow down a new army to play.

I'm after a more 'evil' themed army. I already have Dark Angels, so a marine equivalent isn't something I'm looking at. I'm kinda after something that isn't necessarily a 'power' army, but can bring the cheese if I'm feeling a little low about being beaten by my Tau and skitarri friend. I was thinking Daemons, but I'm not sure.

You are basically describing the necrons, a evil race of ancient machine warriors who can easily crush an army or have a balanced game, depending on how much cheese you want.

I thought they were a marine type army though?? STR4 T4 4+ OR 3+ with re animation??

Well, I wouldn't classify them as such but I guess if you aren't looking for anything similar, I guess tyranids? Well tau can very easily be considered evil but aren't themed around it. Orks are cool?

Aren't orks at an extremely weak spot at the minute? I love their lootas and flash gitz, and their walkers are beautiful.

I was thinking Daemons because they do still have some stronger builds? I hear the only good way to play orks is a biker spam list?

Nids... hyper aggressive bugs from a different galaxy (from a fluff perspective at least). Plus, they have some pretty decent lists out there (mostly MC, but still decently competitive).

Orks when in doubt always choose orks haha or some daemons if the ork choice isn't the one for you, but I'd take orks

Well first of all, if you don't have wolves youre doing something wrong. Secondly, necrons kinda or dark elder. demonkin are pretty legit also, but hugely different from MEQ.
