I've just kicked off a new channel on YouTube with an unboxing of Battle for Zycanthus. It's a long one, but even merciless editing couldn't help that.

Check it out and let me know what you think!

FS will definitely continue! Gamefield Alpha is my attempt to shine the spotlight on the other tabletop stuff I enjoy.

Thanks for making the video, it was quite nice to see!

FYI, for the 'mystery sprue' at 5:35 in the video (the one you're not sure what it is), that's the Tempest Elite sprue...you actually show it again later at 7:40 (where you do properly identify it as the Tempest Elite sprue).

Also, I don't think you actually showed the standard Karist Trooper sprue, nor the Scarecrow sprue (hopefully you got those?).

Thanks, yakface. I've since done an inventory of the sprues and it looks like I did get everything, including an extra Mature Angel which I wasn't expecting! I don't think my brain registered the correlation between the Scarecrow sprue and its finished form, which is probably why I missed it out.

BTW, I've had a look through the rules and I really like what I've seen. It seems that you went for a tight approach and I appreciate that.

It may just be that i have the flu again, but man did i get some wicked motion sickness from you waving the sprues around. Shame too, i was digging the video but had to close it. I'll see how it goes in a week sans-boogers

I'm sorry about the motion sickness! I know that feeling when you're sick and it's hard to look at a screen. Get well soon!

Thanks for doing the video.

I received my copy of the game yeterday.

I have only had a quick look at the contents but the whole package felt cheaper than GW - and it is cheaper!

But it is worth noting that everything in set - the box, the counters, the figures, the packaging, all felt so much cheaper than a GW boxed set.

The rule book looked amazing but I have not played it yet nor made any models.
