Hello all! I'm trying to model an Y'Vahra up in the air with flames shooting down hiding a support structure that keeps it in the air, does anyone know how to make flames like the one seen here?

That is a cool model. Hmm, looks like model train moss painted in blue to me. Try cotton wool with PVA to make it more stable?

Use florists wire to create a frame then super glue on the clump a bit at a time. Using super glue makes the clump set like rock so it takes paint & abuse!
