Working out the gear on my models, which are awesome by the way, but I'm tying to build them with the right gear but want to know that I'm equipping them correctly.

So first: what points levels is ME either designed or balanced to play at (and also the max amount of points it should be played at)?

Second: get to the nitty gritty with me, people that have played: what's the best gear combos? Max out GLs on contractors? Flakk or MG on spiders? Spiders vs flyers?

What guns on the elites? Sprayer on troopers or GL?

The top of this forum has a pinned post with some sample army lists, including one that maxes out the number of points you can make with a single box.

The recommended points value is 150 points. The box makes nice 120 point armies, with a "forced" maximum somewhat higher. I've been playing 90 point games and they're a good size for learning about unit interactions and still having some variety.

With only four Tempest Elites, I'd split them into two squads of two with different weapons. This gives you the choice of fielding them both separately, or of adding one of the Hellstorm guys into the Ravager squad and calling it a Coriolis. (Additionally, I suspect that four Hellstorms is overkill with the boxed set armies.)

I don't know what the best loadout might be for the bots. I've agonized over it enough that I just decided to get more models instead.

@katfude: Did you find other players around Denver that got into the Kickstarter? I got into it but I'm having to sell my stuff. It looks like an interesting game and eventually I'm going to get into it. Just curious to see how many others you know are interested in it in Denver.
