Well I finally got round to building my third chaos knight. I was going to go with slaanesh on this one, but as I started building, the ideas I had werent working. So I switched to Nurgle and proceeded to fuse a slaughterbrute with a knight chassis. I'm pretty new to using greenstuff but im happy with the results so far.

That is one ugly mother- but in a good way obviously

Can't wait to see how this stacks up against the fantastic job you did with 'Skulls" and his Tzeentch pal.

Will there be a possible 4th/Slaanesh one in the far future?

Cheers dude. Yeah number four will hopefully be done by the end of the year. I'm not entirely sure what to do with a slaaneshii knight though.

Tonight's update.

Hi guys. The nurglisation of the knight continues. I've swapped the head for some lovely tentacles and added another layer of gs. Along with some stormfiend tail tentacles on the gun arm.

Today's task was to get to grips with greenstuff. After watching a few tutorials I decided to dive straight in. I know its not perfect, but overall im pretty happy with how it turned out.

Truly terrifying. I dig it. You've got a great gift for green stuff work as well.

Progress is frustratingly slow at the moment. Mainly due to having to wait for one layer of greenstuff to set before adding the next.

However I have managed to get a bit more done over the weekend. The chainsword is nearly finished, as is the gun arm, the carapace is about 50% done, the upper body is ready for primer and the armour plates are pretty much done.

Anyhoo..... time for the pics.

Still a massive amount of work to do, but ive started the powerfist now and the major armour plates are ready for primer. I've also bought some nurglings to scatter around. I'm on my fourth pack of greenstuff now and getting frustrated with how slow progress is. So today I skipped ahead a bit and tried out my colour scheme on one of the shoulders. Its still a bit rough but I quite like it.

Time for some paint.

You can mix milliput with your greenstuff. This makes it dry quicker, and when it cures its more solid so can be cut and filed easier. Looks great so far

Just a minor update today. I got some work done on the torso, and im nearly done on the legs.

About time for another update. Most of the basecoating is now done, as well as some of the detail work. The arms need a lot doing, but the body and legs are nearly finished. Then its just a case of finishing off the tentacles and carapace.
