Although the rulebook layout is perfect - I'm just finding it way too small to read well and learn the rules from.
I know the size/format is perfect to take to games and use as a quick reference (when you know the game), but it's way too small for my aging eyes to have pleasure in reading.
I bought the BtGoA hardback a few weeks ago and found it a pleasure to read - even though I doubt I'll ever play it.

Is there any chance of a larger format or hardback version of the rules in the pipeline for us to buy or am I going to have to somehow print off the pdf version on A4 paper?

Thanks.

Currently most played: Silent Death, Xenos Rampant, Mars Code Aurora and Battletech.
I tried dabbling with 40k9/10 again and tried AoS3 - Nice models, naff games, but I'm enjoying HH2 and loving Battletech Classic and Alpha Strike.

Online quote from FedEx for 'Legal' sized printing black-and-white is about $20. The quote for "I don't care about the margins, just print it on letter" is about $16. Maybe a local print shop could do better, I think the local college campus printer is listing about $6 to $8 for the same print job.

But, if you do print it out, I think the only thing you'd be losing on 8.5 by 11 instead of A4 is some of the nice edge work on pages, none of the actual text.

Edit: When I inspect the PDF, it says it's A4 size. Isn't that the standard "European" page size, so that it'll be easier to get printed in the UK?

It's the standard page size EVERYWHERE except in North America...

You have no idea how inconvenient the stupid letter/legal paper sizes are till you've actually had experience of A4/A5/A3 (and even the B-sizes) while using a photocopier or a large printer.

That's sort of why I was asking. The PDF is sized for A4, according to the flag on the poster's account, he/she should be using A4, so getting a personal copy printed out on A4 (or even A3) should be simple.

If I want A4 paper, I have to go to the campus bookstore and see if they have any left over from a special order or something.

I came across as snarky when it wasn't my intent. Sorry.

Right now we cant get the hardbook back printed at a price that would be worth it for the majority of gamers, with demand present but rather muted. It is certainly something we intend to do at some point though, and in the meantime dont mind you taking the PDF to an on demand printing firm and getting a copy made up if it helps!
