Isn't the black box the only thing left of your pride once it goes crashing down on the battlefield?

If anything would be left, that would be it.

On a serious note, what do you think of the hammer on the libby?

I'd drop the hammer for some Chainfists or extra Scouts. It's not like you're lacking in S8 I1 weapons.

Well, the hammer give you an interesting position. If you keep it and replace the Storm Bolter, than you get an extra attack without losing the Force Weapon. Allowing you to pick and choose which one to use. Plus you can make a cool conversion (which you should hire me to do, I am just sayin'...)

Not a bad list. So does the Thunder Hammer replace his force weapon, or did you buy it as a 2nd close combat weapon? If it replaced it, I'd switch it back to the force weapon if that's the case. Other than that, I'd play a few games and see how the numbers work. My slaneesh list is waiting.... Capt K

Its as a second ccw. He doesn't need a storm bolter in the first place, plus thats 5 points more. I will be testing the army for a long time, see what works. The thunder hammer looks cool, and I think it will be effective. Since the librarian's squad's attacks are mostly going last, and most things that can survive a thunder hammer are killy death, getting another chance to hit it with fists is good.

So... any more comments before this post dies the horrible death all posts are doomed to die?

I would play test it first, all the advise in the world is only a starting point, as I figured with my Word Bearers.

The Hammer

Those termies are at minimum size correct? That Thunderhammer's still a little much, considering the Librarian holding it has a decent chance of going splat before swinging it against most of the things against which it'd be effective. It will definitely look cool, though.

The scouts are paying somewhat of a premium for that teleport homer.

Overall though, looks good. Nice, conservative choices and a whackload of assault cannon. I'd just buy it if I were you and start painting. The only things that might have to be replaced with more/different stuff, models-wise, are the scouts and Librarian - everything else is a keeper for the build. It's a little hard to go wrong with an established concept until you get into comped games, and chance encounters with certain anthromorphic legumes frowning upon games not fitting into that category...
