Hey guys, I wanted to share the latest Kickstarter campaign from DGS games for their skirmish tabletop game Freeblades. The Kickstarter page can be found HERE, the main goal for this campaign is to produce the games 9th faction the Traazorite Raiders!

DGS is a US based game company, who've successfully funded 4 other Kickstarter campaigns for Freeblades. All previous projects have been funded and delivered on time and they've churned out some really nice looking models.

If you want to know more about the game or it's setting you can do so at the following links:

From my experience (as an gamer with game system ADD) Freeblades is a wonderful second or third miniature game to invest in. The cost of a complete faction is very reasonable for our hobby, a full warband + rules will set you back under $100 (and it's even a better deal if you support this Kickstarter). Even if you're not interested in the game the models they are going to produce look fantastic and I'm sure could find a place in many other miniature game systems.

Please give the Kickstarter a look if you are even marginally interested consider investing in Freeblades, even the smallest pledge would mean a lot!

The Kickstarter is still going strong, and approaching the halfway mark! DGS just announced the first stretch goal the Velozar Knight! It's still early in the game to be thinking about stretch goals but if the Kickstarter is funded and you pledged over the $37 mark then you get a Velozar included in your rewards for free! See the link below for pictures of the Velozar, and if your interested back the Kickstarter!

10 days left and just under $2k left to fund! Don't miss your chance to pick up some sweet models on the cheap and help out an independent game design company who has a proven track record of delivering the good on-time with Kickstarter!

46 hours to go and project fully funded (with 2 stretch goals met!), if you have any interest in the models/game now is a great time to jump in and snag some models on the cheap. about $1k away from the final stretch goal as well!

If you pledge $37 or better no matter what level you pledge you'll be getting 1 of each of the unlocked stretch goal models free! That's $17 worth of free model goodness, even if you only use them for DnD or some other game that's a pretty sweet deal!

Don't miss your chance!

I've had the pleasure of meeting the DGS guys and doing a demo game of Freeblades. It's a fun game in a cool fantasy setting, and the models are great for those that miss the more subdued fantasy of Ral Partha.

I've gotten great use out of my Bandit minis with Frostgrave and RPG gaming, even outside of the official game.

Building off Polonius post, if you aren't interested in the Traazorite models but are interested in some of the other models DGS produces you can receive them as pledge rewards instead of Traazorite models (although the free stretch goal models would still be Traazorite models).

If you do decide to back the kickstarter and want even more free models shoot me a PN and if it's the first time you've backed a DGS kickstarter you can identify me in a message to the creator of the kickstarter and we'll both get a free model out of the deal. (deal also works if you bring friends into the kickstarter as well!)
