Hunting with the 13th

I have been running an existing Genestealer Cult as Inquisition/Imperial Guard for some time...But I am excited for the new Broodkin faction! That being said, I am not entirely sold on the 600 point formation, but instead want to focus on a couple of CADs, with an oddball formation for support. I don't yet know the actual faction's support options, if any, but here goes:

*CAD 1*
HQ
Patriarch
Magus Orthan
TROOPS
The Favoured Disciples x2
ELITES
Brothers Aberrant
Purestrain Princelings x2 units

*CAD 2*
HQ
Primus Vorgan
TROOPS
The Faithful Throng x4
ELITES
Purestrain Princelings x3

*MANUFACTORUM GENESTEALERS FORMATION*
5 Squads, each with an attached Broodlord

~This nets me a ton of infiltrating units, as well as some interesting firepower in the Faithful Throng. No transports of any kind means that I will be hugging cover as much as possible, and crying at the thought of massed flamers...But the MSU 'stealers can hopefully provide enough of a distraction and threat in order to allow everything to close. Plus, their are loads of rending attacks. The Patriarch and Broodlords provide enough backbone to tackle most things (I also have some spare points that could be used to arm some with toxin sacs or adrenal glands), and 9 warp charge gives some solid chances to get off Telepathy spells.

Outside of Genestealer formations (mainly from the Leviathan I dataslate), I don't know what other support options would fit the fluff bill. I reckon that time will tell as to more of the specifics concerning the new faction, but any feedback is welcome.

Looks fun. I reacon a Renegades with Broodkin could be both fluffy and playable.

Yes, that would be a fun pairing! In this case, I would go with the Broodkin Formation (considering it a 'suicide mission').

Or turn it on it's head. Set the Broodkin behind an Aegis, and run swarms of mutants and the like foward...(Endless horde?)
