I just painted my first two minis from Space Hulk, following the tuto from the WD 33.
I'm not totally fine with the genestealer, maybe I should do a wash or put some ardcoat on the flesh, even if it's not in the tuto.

Would go a little less contrast on the purple highlights and just touch extreme points with that lighter purple.

The purple shade might tone it down some. Really like the carapace.

I painted more genestealers last week.
I added a wash on the skin, a varnish on the carapace, and made the highlights differently on the skin.
It is clearly better, I'll paint all the others with this schem.
What do you think about those genestealers ?

Nice old-school colour choice. The purple looks a bit flat compared to the blue but otherwise a solid job.
