A Protoss colony world

I'm doing my Khorne Daemonkin army as the Skullsworn (my interpretation on one of the warbands depicted in the codex). Here's a couple of examples:

This Helbrute shows how I'm doing the majority of the mortal side of the army. The whole thing was first sprayed with Army Painter Pure Red primer. I painted the fleshy parts first, then the silver metallic parts like the Multimelta and the pistons with GW Leadbelcher. The brass trim was done with GW Screaming Bell base paint. Once I had the base colors down, I shaded the whole mini with GW Agrax Earthshade. That stuff is pure talent in a pot. Anyway, I then repainted the armor with GW Evil Sunz Scarlet. I highlighted the brass trim with GW Hashut Copper to make it a little more shiny. I'm pretty happy with how it came out.

This Juggerlord was done a little differently since I didn't use red primer (I used black). I painted the rider's armor with GW Mephiston Red, then the Juggernaut in GW Khorne Red. The brass trim was done in Screaming Bell. I shaded this model with Agrax Earthshade also, as it works really well with the brass and the red, although you could probably get away with Nuln Oil as well. After the shade, I added another coat of Khorne Red to the Juggernaut, making sure to leave the recesses a little darker. I painted the rider's armor in Evil Sunz Scarlet. The brass trim was highlighted with Hashut Copper just like the Helbrute. I'm pretty happy with the results myself, although my photography skills do not do them any justice.

My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/7/24, including modeled wargear options):
Dark Angels: ~16000 Astra Militarum: ~1200 | Imperial Knights: ~2300 | Leagues of Votann: ~1300 | Tyranids: ~3400 | Stormcast Eternals: ~5000 | Kruleboyz: ~3500 | Lumineth Realm-Lords: ~700

The Grotsnik Corp Bump Feelerer 9,000. It only looks like several bricks crudely gaffer taped to a cricket bat.

Reds: Khorne Red for Armor, Agrax Earthshade for shade with Evil Sun Scarlet and Fire Dragon Blight Highlights. Mephiston Red for Skin same shade, same initial highlight and then Wild Rider Red for last highlight.

Golds: Blathasar Gold with same shade as above and highlight with either Ironbreaker, Runefang Steel or Sycorax Bronze.

Sometimes I'll use Nuln Oil for shade as I prefer that for weapons.

There is a whole section of vids for how to paint Age of Sigmar Khorne stuff on WarhammerTV on YouTube.

In the Warp, getting trolled by Tactical_Spam, AKA TZEENTCH INCARNATE

I've painted this little guy in the colours of the 'Harvest' warband from the KDK book:

The red was done with a base layer of Scab Red followed by a layer of Mephiston Red, with a line of the Scab Red left visible for a tiny bit of shading. The bone-coloured parts were painted with a base layer of Screaming Skull, washed with Seraphim Sepia and then painted with Screaming Skull again with some of the shaded colour left visible.

Tactical_Spam: Ezra is fighting reality right now.

War Kitten: Vanden, you just taunted the Dank Lord Ezra. Prepare for seven years of fighting reality...

War Kitten: Ezra can steal reality

Kharne the Befriender:Took him seven years but he got it wrangled down

I myself use Vallejo Model Color Red Rojo 70.926 and Old Gold for the Brass. I throw some Abbadon Black Highlight with Evil Sunz Scarlet & Mephiston Red for Chaos Marines. For Demons / Beasts I base with Mephiston Red and Highlight with Evil Sunz Scarlet etc.

When I do Khorne stuff I like to use flesh tones with (obviously) an emphasis on red.

I emphasized the the Brass and black with bone on my Legion of Brass guys back in the day. I let the blood be the main points of red.
