These are all a few months old, but I thought someone might find them interesting. I go through sporadic moments of either working on short stories or a fantasy novel alternated with weeks devoted to writing poems or trying to rap.
I'm listing them in order of what I consider to be best to worst:
Something not so monotonous, I guess. Bright poetry with some quiet background music, maybe? If you will sing, then it will need the music too. Just my opinion

That's actually really good feedback. Part of of the problem is that I need to improve both my delivery emotionally and my enunciation of multi-syllabic words. Part of the problem is that Hip-Hop instrumentals use a standardized format and I frequently use the same artist's work for my recordings so it does tend towards repetition in terms of sound. My latest work has been an attempt to branch out in both regards. I'm not sure what else to do to improve. Perhaps experimenting with alternative styles of music with varying tempos?
