So I want to make a earth caste for a jokero. Proxy. I have a old plastic tank commander I plan on using for the base. The hat is throwing me what bits would be best or should I try and green stuff it? any suggestions would be most helpful.

Do you mean a hat that sits on top of the head, or more like a helmet that encloses most or all of the head?

The one kinda like a Asian straw hat. Though I may drop the hat all together. He is one of like 15 projects and may sit on the back burner as a treat for finishing off my knight

You can fairly easily make a conical hat from a piece of paper or thin card wrapped round on to itself, glued, and stiffened with PVA or Super Glue for a tougher finish.

0.25mm plasticard also would work if you want to do it in plastic.

Alternatively, an NVA style pith helmet might be an interesting variation though it would take more work to make it.

the ones with the masked faces would hide that fact that these were meant to be human heads...
