Hey all!
Diving into some Horus Heresy Alpha Legion and before I do I am nutting out my scheme. I have tried at least 10 different variations so far, but recently came upon and airbrush and some "Ghost Tints". Here are the result:



If you browse to the image in the gallery you should be able to zoom in a lot - this collage contains 3 different schemes.
Worth noting I am only really looking at the armour here, the silver trim was just slapped on for some contrast, it is the armour colour I am looking at.

All 3 were primed black, then sprayed leadbelcher, then sprayed runefang steel top down onto the model.
The top model was just given a single coat of Plasma Fluid Ghost Tint
The middle model was washed with drakoth nightshade and then sprayed with a layer of Plasma Fluid.
The bottom model was sprayed with Plasma Fluid then given a wash of drakoth nightshade.

What is everyones favourite?

I prefer the middle row. Other two are a bit to bright for me.
