So, I was thinking of making a Farsight model for my Tau, And I have a old crisis suit thats very broken that uses the sword from the old Farsight model, the metal sword and arm so I was thinking of taking it appart and using the old metal sword to build a new Farsight model, But I dont know if I should use a regular new Crisis Suit, Or a Commander Suit. The old Farsight sword arm is the same size as the arms on the new crisis suits, But I dont know how big the new commander arms are so I dont know if it would fit on a commander suit.. So here comes the question, How big are the Commander suit arms compared to the regular crisis suit arms?

The arms off the commander suit are larger then the regular XV-8 Arms. I can't really say by how much, but it is a noticeable different between the two kits. If your just taking the sword, and not the whole arm, then i think it should work on a commander suit.

Unfortunately I have not the tools to take the metal sword off a metal arm, I guess I'l just use a regular crisis suits for the new Farsigth model. Thats what his old model was!
