How many models are in a normal game, roughly?
How likely is it for pirates to steal Karist gear and masquerade as them for fun?
Is this game about skirmish fighting?
How much is the game about "your dudes" (model customisation, named or special characters, campaign effects)?

Hi Selym!

The rules recommend a force size of about 120 to 150 points, which comes down to about 20 to 30 models for the current factions (Epirians, Karists). There are some example forces in the sticky in this forum.

I have no idea about the pirates! The Edge is a tumultuous place though, all sorts of crazy stuff can happen.

The game is not skirmish in the sense that you fight with individual models. It is, however, about small squads and relatively small forces, clever use of terrain and manoeuvring. So it kind of depends by what you mean by 'skirmish'

The game is about your dudes as much as you make it! Customizing models is encouraged and there are some cool examples to be found in the forum already (Scorpion drones, 'jetpack' Contractors, loads of cool stuff by guys like Panic and insaniak). There are named characters in the books and audio stories you can take inspiration from. No official campaigns yet exist, but the rulebook explicitly differentiates between competitive and narrative play, so the system will be well suited to it. It's still early days for MEdge, but legoburner has already hinted that there will be an announcement soon about further plans for MEdge. Don't miss it!

Sounds like the kind of stuff I'm looking for.

Thanks for the answers
