I think i actually like the Zuyong model now having seen Barzams pictures. When it first came out i wasn't convinced and thought the helmet looked funny. But now i actually quite like it.

Sorry to bring the painting level down in here. I finished my Naffatun. I feel like I should have spent some more time on the guns, but they're done. Time to move on.

Not bringing it down at all, Loki! I really like the muted military colours you use on those guys.

Thanks.

My next project is in the background, which won't have muted military colours at all.

Looks pretty good to me! I half arse the guns a lot too. They're usually the last thing I paint so ehh. Also I see a kum bike in the back! Great models, can't wait

I really like the look of your first picture, almost like they were holding hands and had to break apart to go do their job

'Be careful.'

'I love you'

'I know'

Or something cheesy like that

Curious to see what those bikers look like when painted by a proper human too

You're crazy, Loki, they look awesome, dude. Just wait till I start smushing my brush up against my models in a destined to fail attempt to paint. Then you'll see something that is actually bad, haha!

I started a thread here http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/622743.page#7345830 for people to post photos of their tables, or tables that they have played on. I started things off with tables from a tournament here near Baltimore. I hope it can become a reference for players who want to see how tables can look.

Seeing as I got two big boxes from Secret Weapon today, I may have to post something in there in the future, Red.

Wow those are extremely impressive, looking forward to seeing what recipe you used.

Have you thought about what to do with the bases yet?

Nice job NM. Mine is sitting on my bench staring me down. I have no idea what colours I'm going to do. How did you do your silver by the way? I'm going for chrome/silver on my Nomads.

Also, I actually updated my Nomad blog. No really! I'm not kidding. Why don't you believe me? Fine, here's a link. Gecko, Gecko.

It is fairly simple, I use Vallejo Air Brush colors (I brush them on) Steel and Silver are my favorites, I have chrome (haven't used it yet) For that model I used a different paint Vallejo Alcohol Metal Silver. After a good coating of the paint (and it dries) I hit it up with Vallejo Grey Ink which for comparison a picture.

The Raicho is in the process of being silvered and the Kurgat as recently been inked. From there you can drybrush or hightail with the silver/steel

^I might have to get those colors, boltgun has been a standby forever but maybe is time for change.

Thanks for the recipe and such an effective one it is. Those paints are lovely, I'll have to get them for another project. I have something special for my chromads which should be nice and shiny even if it's a nuisance to paint on.
