Has it really been this long already? Wow, how time flies...
I know there are probably some die hard fans out there who love Ratlings, but at this point I wouldn't mind the kit vanishing altogether.
A base 10 men kit for infantry and then some individual upgrade sprues for HWT, SWT, CCS and so one would make sense to me. But I doubt we will ever get that.

On Helbrecht, what an unimpressive interpretation of an unimpressive illustration... It looks like the illustrator didn't know how to create perspective and the sculptor didn't know how to interpret it, so the model's weight looks all wrong and like he might tip away from the ork. Decent detail, terrible composition. Actually, why was it changed to a random boy instead of a nob or whatever? And why is his lantern chain wrapped around his off-hand? Isn't his sword supposed to look like a 2-h weapon? And why are the servitors so bulky now? I'd call it a miss.

Not handy for posting, sadly! It was floating around back when the first DKoK plastic rumors hit last year...and I didn't save it. Rumor is that it's Death Riders, Grenadiers/Engineers, Infantry, and Heavy Weapon Squad--with blisters for a Grenadier, Death Rider, and Engineer officer plus a Quartermaster. Seen rumours of Catachans maybe next year, which would be wild if the sculpts are as nice as the independent characters they've been trickling out previously.
The Catachan rumor is lining up with the Big Rumor. Purportedly it's a Kill Team set, with Catachans and Lictors.

On the Servitors, models as far back as the 2nd ed ones were more muscled than they were commonly described in the background. The only skinny Servitor that deserved the corpse creature moniker from the background that GW proper made, to my knowledge anyway, is the loader servitor of the 3rd ed Exorcist.
Since GW has only gone further in the super buff dudes direction in the meantime, with very few exceptions like the Slaanesh cultists from AoS as a notable example, it's not surprising to get super buff Servitors with Helbrecht.

Servitors are often made from failed Astartes aspirants and it's just good maintenance to keep their meat parts (because they are majority meat parts) in a physique that would allow them to be more than meat shields.

Grimaldus's servitors are gonna look like they bench press the columns they carry in their free time aren't they?

Depends on how the failed, I'd imagine. The ones able to become chapter serfs are made such, those whose bodies have been mangled, or minds rendered unstable are prime servitor candidates.

I've been looking at that art ever since you mentioned this, and I'm torn between it showing something (not necessarily grenadiers) and the forearm plates just being fine lines of paint in the distance and not necessarily intended to be smooth.
I absolutely hope you are right though. Grenadiers are just as iconic as the death riders and engineers for me. If they do make them, I hope they make them slightly taller and broader in the shoulders also, just for lore points.

Proof that our attention span isn't as rock-solid as we'd like to think, and that we are readily distracted by other, newer things.
All in all, not the worst reveal ever, but is it just me, or is it getting harder to get hype about these things knowing they're being pushed further and further out? Remember the Aeronautica space marine reveals? I wanted some of those kits for Titanicus terrain/bases and such, but nowhere to be seen.
