Hi everyone,

I'm desperately looking for good looking helmet crest like the one on the Sternguard Veteran Sergeant.
But I looked on several bits selling sites and of course they're out of order everywhere (or it would cost me more than $30 for five fething bits on ebay).
Do you know a place where I can get those?
If now, do you know a place where they do custom good looking ones, cause most of those I found are fugly.

The individual crest bit is a separate part you can attach to any helmet. I would go over to the Dakka Dakka swap shop forum and see if anyone has a spare one or two laying around from when they built their Sternguard models. Not everyone wants the crests on the top of the helm.

I’ve seen them on a few of the 3rd party sites.

I know a few are on the Ultramarine chapter accessory sprue. One straight, one crosswise. They are pretty chapter specific though.

The BaC mk IV marines have the crosswise crest on the sarges.

Spellcrow has them for 10 for $10. I've ordered from them before... their parts needs a bit of cleaning and trimming, but there was nothing unusable and the service was good.

Yes i found this Ultramarine sprue but it's gonna be a bit expensive to field all my sergeants with this ^^

What's BaC?

The puppetswar ones don't really look good, the anvil Industry ones look like they are good quality but I would very much like too see them on a completed mini because they feel like they're a bit big and also weird because the plumes would be directly attached to the helmet.

BaC is betrayal at calth, the 30k box set. Includes 30 mk. IV marines amount other things.

On that note, FW has a number of crests on their site. Check the Ultras and command sets.

I haven't used that actual bit. I bought a bunch of grav and combi- grav from them and felt pretty satisfied with my end of the transaction. They needed a bit of trimming and sanding, but had a nice level of detail and symmetry. They even threw in some random marine heads I hadn't ordered.

I've seen the Anvil Industries ones used before, and they look great. All the stuff I've ever bought from them has always been great quality too, so I'd recommend them.

There's also the Centurion box, there's a helmet crest in there, I've used that on one of my Sergeants, and he looks fine to me.
