Subject: Question about Magnetizing Imperial Knights.
So I got myself 4 imperial knights from Renegade and am planning to magnetize them for all the weapon options. I've watched Dr Faust's video on it and have a good idea of the basics, but since his vid was made for the base Paladin/Errant version, I had a few questions about the newer Warden kit:
1.) I can't quite tell from the instructions but it looks like the Avenger Gattling Cannon uses the same elbow joint as the Battle/Melta Cannon. As I've never built a knight before this, I wanna ask if they do share these parts or do they provide two copies of it? If there is only one of it, then how would I go about magnetizing that joint?
2.) For the missile pods, should I magnetize the front of it or do most people not care enough that I can just glue whichever one I like the look of and call it a day? It looks like there's no interior support structure for it so it looks to be easier to just glue it on. If people do make that distinction, then how did you guys go about magnetizing it? Or is just one of the missiles flat out better than the other one?
3.) The carapace weapons look like they slot in a hole built into the carapace. Is there enough friction in this hole to keep the piece in place or should this be magnetized as well?
Thanks!
EDIT: Forgot one more question: What specific sizes of magnets should I be looking for? I'm heading to a hobby shop a few towns across tomorrow and am going with a shopping list. It would be good to know before then.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

Thanks. That thread was helpful but I still got a few questions unaswered:
1.) Is it necessary to magnetize the Missile Pod faces?
2.) Will the Carapace Weapon stick to the hole or does it have to be magnetized?
3.) Any specifics about the size of the magnets? Faust made a note of pointing out not using different sized magnets due to attraction properties.

It's more of a choice. There are plenty of tutorials on the web that may give you some ideas. I myself prefer to leave all options open that way I can build for the points value when gaming.
FWIW I found Faust's video to be one of the worst for magnetizing. The above are better as is the one from Spikey Bitz.

A lot of people magnetize the waist, for transport purposes I assume, but if I have a big enough case should I just glue on the torso? Same goes for the head and shoulder joints.
