This is the 12th year for the APOC event. The biggest turnout in the past 12 years of the event was 400K of 40k painted which at that time was a world record.
This is the 4th year for the GT event. Last year we were part of Die Con in Collinsville and had 30 participants. Looking to grow that number to 50 or more this year. We are fortunate to have frontline gaming FAT Mats on our tables this year for the ITC event and possibly parts of the APOC game.
Details will continue to be added to the APOC game but if you have questions let us know here or on the site linked above.

This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

Am I reading it right as $30 entry even if you just plan on playing in the apoc event and ignoring the tourney?

$30 is the cost of the tournament and includes the opportunity to play Apocalypse on Sunday. The cost to play in the Apocalypse games both days (instead of doing the tournament) is $20. There will also be prizes given out during the day for the Apocalypse event.

Mehh.. sounds interesting enough but the ITC bit and people generally getting up in arms about using Collegia Titanica rules for titans means I'll probably have to skip this event.

I'm not familiar with the Collegia Titanica rules you mentioned, are they homebrew? We have alot of folks that bring all sorts of interesting homebrewed stuff to the Apocalypse game in the past. This is one of the largest Apocalypse games in the world, and usually we are pretty accommodating to whatever someone wants to field. If you want to participate in a large Apocalypse battle on a huge scale, you really can't go wrong here!
As for the ITC tournament, I can understand different strokes for different folks, but that's the direction the local groups seem to be moving in so that's why we've decided that route for Siegeworld.

No. They're technically the newest rules released by ForgeWorld for the Warhound, Reaver, and the only rules for the new Warlord, but since they're in a HH book people get pissy over it because it's "not 40k"

Well you're in luck then, because those are the rules the Gateway Gamers and Siegeworld folks use for their titans, especially since Siegeworld brings a whole lot of them! You should look into checking out the Siegeworld Apocalypse game!

I wanted to also note that we will be giving out a swag bag to the first 50 participants, as well as doing raffles throughout the day!

We have about 20 signed up so far, and we have space for 50 with a little less than a month to go! It should be a great turnout and great time. Alot of the locals like to procrastinate to the last minute.
Also, here are the objective markers that each attendee will get with their swag bag:

**Updated OP again**
I have set up the official "Best Coast Pairings" App for the Siegeworld 2016 Tournament:
https://www.bestcoastpairings.com/eventlanding/siegeworld2016
This means you can signup at the Best Coast Pairings link and be automatically pre-registered for the tournament, instead of having to sign-in at the door and all! This will make pairings, results and ITC points much simpler for anyone that has never used the app before.
**Note**
If you have already registered/paid, you do not have to do so again. I will be manually transferring your information over to the Best Coast Pairings app. So you don't have to do anything, you're all good to go!

Unfortunately, per ITC rules, if your army is not fully painted to a 3 color minimum you will be ineligible for some of the prizes if you place in the tourney. However, we do have a sweet swag bag for everyone, and I believe we are doing other prize draws during the day. We'd love to see all of you guys at the event! Make sure you register online as well, it streamlines the process!
From the ITC Rules:
Modeling and Painting
-In order to be eligible for any prize , all models in your army must be painted to a 3 color minimum. Primer counts as a color.
-All models are expected to be WYSIWYG to a reasonable standard. Exceptions will be made for themed units or armies.
-Using a proxy for a model violates our policy.
-Using a reasonable substitute to “Counts As” another model, does not violate our policy.
-If in doubt, send a picture in of a model to your TO in advance to ask if it is acceptable.
Paint judging is done by TO’s and staff

It is, however, your tournament, and not ITCs. So if you want to ignore the painting standards that's up to you. The ITC rules are merely guidelines for you to follow. I've participated in a lot of ITC events that ignore the 3 color minimum.

You are correct, the ITC actually encourages TO's to run their events how they want. In this case though, the Gateway Gamers would like to run this event following all of the ITC rules/ FAQs/guidelines/etc, so the painting rules will be in effect as well. It makes it easier on us, and gives some consistency for some of the out of town folks coming down.
Can't wait to see everybody, we are just two short weeks away!
