Which was the most powerful cheesee Marines 1500pts army you ever saw in a GT or Tourney ?

1500 Points? I wish My Movie Space Marines Were Tourney Legal...

People used to complain that 9 tornadoes or 6 drop pods was cheesy, but by now most people have figured out their disadvantages.

Competitive 1500 point marine lists are now highly standardized -
termie librarian with fury/fear, 4 termie retinue with 2 ACs
a few 6 man lasplas squads
3+ tornadoes with ACs
3 destructors or 3 vindicators
elite devastator squad with tank hunter and 4 missile launchers
and maybe a couple of drop pod dreds or elite devastators with HBs.

The other option that gets used a lot is:
2+ tac squads with 2 meltas or plasmas and a powerfist in a drop pod
2+ dreds in pods
3+ tornadoes
librarian terminator command squad.

Sometimes you see a single assault marine squad with a fist and perhaps a reclusiarch, which can be used in either of the above themes.

Adds upto 1499 if i recall correctly, the downside the the army is that it's minimum troops massed vehicles, but if you ask me that is space marines main strength their versatile fantastic vehicle selection. But the army above is pretty much anti-everything.
