Hey everyone, I've started an article as you can see, still very much in the early stages. I hope to eventually do one for my take on Dark Angels and Tau, so I'm open to comments about my formatting and such once I get more of the article done. Still very much a work in progress!

My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/1/23, including modeled wargear options):
Dark Angels: ~15000 Astra Militarum: ~1200 | Adeptus Custodes: ~1900 | Imperial Knights: ~2000 | Sisters of Battle: ~3500 | Leagues of Votann: ~1200 | Tyranids: ~2600 | Stormcast Eternals: ~5000

I like how you organised it but maybe stick to no pictures or put pictures on more units so they don't stand out and break the form too much. Great analysis though - very helpful when it comes to writing lists.

I actually didn't put the pictures in; one of the mods did that (I think it was insaniak). I don't mind them too much, although I do wish they fit into the article a little better.

Great article!

for the bikers,

you wrote
Special weapons replace close combat weapon, reducing their effectiveness in close combat.

Not entirely true. You can choose to swap out the mounted twin linked bolters on the bikes instead of the close combat weapon keeping there close combat intact. (p90 KDK codex)

So after reading the entire (really great) article, you might want to add a category to discuss the blood tithe table?

For the bloodletters another big thing (imho) that you forgot to mention is that they are Fearless and a 6+ instant death rule making them wonderful vs monstrous creatures and gargantuous creatures. Stuff like Wraithknights do not want these guys to touch them because they might still be standing next turn and every to wound roll of 6 can cause heavy damage.

They can also be summoned which can be great in case you really need more AP3 sources.

IMHO in this codex bloodletters deserve at least to be competitive. Way better then CSM. even if bloodletters usually just die after deep striking, that only means your opponent shot a cheap unit down instead of the upcoming storm (aka the rest of the army) that should arrive on the charge the following turn.

I'm not reading that they can do any such thing. They are indeed Fearless, but the ID on a 6+ is an Axe of Khorne thing. Their weapons (Hellblades) are just basically power swords. They are AP3, which makes them scary to MEQ or less, but that's all. For what it's worth, I do think they are the best troops in the codex, but they aren't that powerful really.

The warp must have touched my mind more then I thought... I was really convinced that bloodletters had decapitating blow... Don't know how that came in my mind.... Sorry for the major error on my part... Should have double checked.

Would probably also mention the blood oath formations as those things people REALLy overlook (Except the fist of khorne)

- Bloody Horde (Ever liked lost and the damned but thought "I wished everything had a 5+ invulnurable save?" well this formation is for you.)
-Note: I find not giving them bloodreapers and instead investing in half the bloodletters in getting BANNER OF BLOOD's makes this formation from niches to "HOLY CRAP HE HAS HOW MANY GUYS IN FRONT OF ME?!?!"
for only the small cost of 1220 pts (That's enough to put a small blood host detachment in there)

-Hellforge hunting pack
- Ever wanted to field 8 maulerfiends in a 1750 point army that have 5 atk's on the charge and +1 atk for your guys dying? Yea... thought you would (The brass scorpion is also a BEAST in this formation)

The goreguard
- Would never see this in a standard game, but watching An'ggrath and his retinue of bloodthirsters clean house is always amusing

Fist of Khorne
- Would of been great.... if only you didn't have to buy a maxed out khorne bezerker squad (still, a enemy unit (or units) dead on first turn aint so bad)
