Many people have asked us for a walkthrough of the game so that they can learn more about how it plays. We've finally gotten around to making one. You can read it online on the Maelstrom's Edge website at long last.

For those of you who have been curious about the game but did not want to take the plunge until you understood how it plays in more detail, the walkthrough should answer a lot of questions, and we are always happy to answer any more that you might have, here or elsewhere.

Thanks for looking!

Thanks for this. Are there any plans to release a rules/cards/tokens pack? I've sworn off buying any more minis until my unbuilt pile doesn't outweigh my painted.

The rules look elegant and fun and I'd be up for trying them with my existing collection.

Thanks Eldarain, the digital rulebook can be bought on the webstore which includes a page of copy/printable tokens in the back. The general flame and blast templates are standard sizes, so that digital rulebook is really all you need to get started.

We sold a version that was just the cardboard and book in the kickstarter, but only 2 people ended up going for it, the rest putting in the extra cash for the full set simply because the card and rules are the most expensive part to produce in the boxed set, so doing it as a standalone pack does not represent much savings over the £60 packed box - the rules and card together would be at least £20, plus the expense of making a new, custom box for them, for the handful of orders that would choose that over the full set or digital rulebook.

Thanks!

Didn't realize that about the digital. That will work perfectly. Cheers.
