My first Wh30k army - loyal Night Lords shortly before Horus Heresy

I almost didn't click because I've found Night Lords to be a silly paint scheme in the past. You've done a nice job here, with lovely bases. Heck I don't even really like Cataphractii terminators but you've made them look extremely presentable.

I don't really like the current night lords look, but you've definitely redeemed them with this. Looks great!

Next guy in my collection is ittle improved and repainted NL champion for wh40k warband with honour guard

Agree with the posters above, the blues look so luscious. The Sicarian looks fantastic too, I'm pressed with all the little night lord acoutrements that you've added here and there.

Shields are from plastic WFB Skeleton Warriors box, I bought one only to make some NL details on figures and vehicles

The army is very dark and brooding, but definitely keeps interest via the gory displays and beautiful lightning effects. Looking forward to more compadre!

I really like the models; but I think the lightning needs to be more white/have more white in it. At the moment it kind of blends in a bit with your edge highlights, and makes the model kind of odd to my eyes.

That said, it could just be the photos/the older models, because the most recent models you posted the lightning is clearly white and stands out well.

Quality is very good, love the helms on the various guys. They are far too bright though and very Tron-ish. Maybe soften the highlights a little and not go as bright. Midnight clad doesn't work when you are brighter than an ultramarine.

Highlights are a bit darken in real look, but You're right - I will make them darkened with dark blue wash and I;ll show them together with finished Rhino
