Hi, next part of artworks from world of Age of Sigmar. As for me - arts from latest battletome are great, much better than older battletomes ilustrations.
More, as always on my blog: http://wellofeternitypl.blogspot.com/2016/08/artworks-from-age-of-sigmar-xiii.html

They've really stepped up their game here. I wouldn't mind having a poster of the top illustration.

I will have to agree, GW has stepped up the art work now. I can honestly say the pics in the link, I can't complain about how bad one piece of art work is now. I will have to give GW credit now. Before I was harsh on them, still am, but will admit this is good to really good.

Still I don't like they style, wouldn't call it premium product, but non the less, it is good and even inspiring now when before the other art work wasn't inspiring at all.

GW has stepped up indeed now.

Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.

Everything is made up and the points don't matter. 40K or Who's Line is it Anyway?

They are much more like old warhammer fantasy battles pieces. Really nice. Good to see stuff like this from GW.

Some of that stuff is seriously impressive, maybe the best I've seen from GW in the last couple of years. I can`t wait for more books

I wish the Ogors models looked as good as the artwork. Whilst I love the beasts, the riders still look very dated and ugly to my eyes.

They look like enormous serpents to me, echoes of Jormungand or polar kraken or similar fakking huge ice snakes. Back in the Warhammer World, Ogre legends tell of how they beat the Frost Giants, but these are clearly less humanoid frosty giants.

Yeaaaa I'd love me some Yhetees or Sabretusks that looked anything like this!

Definitely getting better, though IMO I think the Bonesplittaz art was better as a whole. While both tomes have some of the poorly done digital coloring that plagued the early books, I feel like it's a little more forgivable in the brightly colored Orc book (though these are some bright Ogres to be sure, with all that white + blue).

There seems to be a lot of Ur-beasts that roam or did roam the mortal realms (particularly the Realm of Beasts). Many snippets in the Battletome's mention things like Ur-Wyrms, Ur-drakes etc. These things could either be long dead Ur-beasts or perhaps even corpses of Ur-Wyrms which were slain by GorkaMorka during the Ur-Wyrm wars. (Bonesplitterz Battletome).

Ur-Beasts and the giant animal bones we are seeing a lot of in the artwork are one of the things I am really starting to love about AoS. Makes you wonder just what is still roaming these lands.

I disagree For me ogors are still one of the most interesting and detailed models from GW, much better than (for example) Stormcasts or Fyreslayers.

Indeed, the epic monsters that roam the realms and leave behind bones that rival mountains are a real draw for me as well!

What's really telling is that the Godbeasts book snuck in the Skaven "ship" from Dread Fleet into the background art of the map. The fearsome creature that is a horrific leviathan of gigantic proportions in the old world is one of the tiniest things on the map for the realm of beasts.

Is it me or the Hammers of Sigmar (or similarly coloured) feature too frequently when it comes down to having beaten stormcasts?

Oh god, they are AoS's sisters' of battle.

Ultramarines get a fair bit of hammer (no pun intended) in 40K. There's a good bit of artwork with dead Ultramarines.

I see it more like how the Reikland state troops always found themselves teleported to where the Empire was getting slaughtered.

The downside of being Warhammer posterboys.

Also, spectacular art. Thanks so much for always sharing it, Wellofeternity.

Excellent illustrations. Now, combined with Atia's description, we have a general idea of how the new changeling will look.
P.S. Oh, it has already leaked in the rumour thread
